Playdate

A soft knocking at the door perked the little up immediately. He discarded his blue cotton blanket on his bed and scurried to the front door of his apartment, almost crashing into the walls in the midst of his frenzy due to the lack of light in his house. Once he had made it to the front door, he twisted the knob and swiftly pulled the door open, revealing a - very wet - Taehyung. The younger of the two threw himself into Jimins open arms, shivering slightly in the embrace.

"Tae, you can't run ahead like that! What if you fall and hurt yourself?" Jeongguk called from down the hallway, slightly out of breath due to chasing after his little. When he arrived at Jimin's apartment door, however, he couldn't help but smile in awe at the sight in front of him; his boyfriend and his best friend clinging onto each other as though these were their last moments together.

"Sorry, Daddy," Tae mumbled into Jimin's shoulder, earning a pout from Jimin as he pulled back.

"Minnie what's wrong?" Taehyung asked, a sudden wave of worry crowding his mind as he saw his best friend wasn't smiling or giggling.

"TaeTae has a Daddy but Minnie don't," Jimin muttered around his paci, staring at the ground, the plastic hanging loosely from his lips.

"What 'bout Yoonie?" Taehyung asked, a confused frown etched onto his soft features. Tae, bless his heart, thought Yoongi was Jimin's Daddy, so it was no surprise that he was more than baffled when Jimin was complaining about not having  a Daddy of his own.

"Baby, let's go inside, we can talk about this later, okay?" Jeongguk lightly tapped his boyfriend on the back to usher him inside, to which he complied by happily skipping over to the sofa, his mind turning to auto-pilot as his eyes found the cartoons that were still rolling on the television.

Jeongguk softly closed the door behind him and placed his bag of Tae's favourite things down on the floor next to the sofa, before joining his little, beckoning Jimin to sit with them.

"Thank you for coming over, Uncle Ggukie, Minnie was very scared on his own," Jimin smiled up at Jeongguk, who simple ruffled his hair and placed a light kiss on his forehead.

Despite it being a play date, all Tae seemed to do was watch the cartoon, squealing whenever a new episode of his favourite show would play. Usually, this would be bliss for Jimin, but the rain was still pounding heavily on the windows, and from the way he was softly shaking, Jeongguk could tell he needed more of a distraction than just cartoons.

"Tae, baby, do you want to play with Jiminie? I brought your favourite stuffies and colouring books with me, and I'm sure Minnie will let you play with some of his, won't you Min?" Jeongguk asked his little, earning a simple shake of the head. he knew that Tae wasn't tired, as he'd had a nap before he come out. He was simply being selfish, taking advantage of the large television Jimin had.

"But we came over to Jiminie's house so you could have a playdate! It's not a playdate if you're not playing, sweetheart. Jiminie is really scared right now, he needs his TaeTae!" at the sound of Jimin's name, Taehyung's head snapped up from where it was resting on Jeongguk's shoulder, his senses becoming alert now that he knew his best friend - his soulmate - was scared.

"Oh, Jiminie! 'M so, so sorry!" Taehyung pounced onto Jimin, engulfing him in yet another hug. He stayed with his arms wrapped around the boy until Jimin emitted a soft giggle, which caused Taehyung to giggle, and before the pair knew it, they were in fits of high pitched giggles, doubled over as they struggled to breathe.

"Jiminie, where do you keep your toys?" Jeongguk interrupt the two, causing them to pull apart and wipe at their slightly damp eyes.

"In my a box in my wardrobe! Want me to get them?" Jimin asked politely, which shocked Jeongguk. Usually, if a little didn't have anybody - say a caregiver, or even a mommy or a daddy - to discipline them, they would be extremely bratty. Jimin was the polar opposite of this, he was a complete angel, he always did what he was told and used his manners, even though he didn't have a caregiver to teach him manners or give him any rules.

"No, that's okay, thank you though, Jiminie. You start playing with TaeTae, I'll be back shortly," Jeongguk said before walking towards Jimin's room, trying to not laugh at the silly innuendo that left his mouth. Sometimes he wonders if he's really fit to care for Tae, what, with his immature mind.

Jimin turned to his best friend and smiled sadly as Taehyung pulled two bears out of the bag Jeongguk had placed on the floor, examined both carefully, then handed a cream bear to Jimin.

"Jiminie, why isn't  Yoonie your Daddy?" Taehyung asked quietly, tilting his head slightly as the boy opposite him played with the bear in his hands.

"'Cause Yoonie doesn't know Jiminie is little," Jimin admitted, almost a whisper. To this, Taehyung gasped, quite loudly at that, as Jeongguk came rushing in with the box in his hands, a panicked look on his face.

He placed the plastic box onto the sofa and rushed over to Taehyung, examining him thoroughly. "Are you okay, baby? What happened? Are you hurt?" Jeongguk was frantically trying to search for any signs of harm on Taehyung's precious, fragile body, to which the two littles giggled at.

"Silly Daddy, TaeTae isn't hurt!" Taehyung beamed up at Jeongguk, raising a finger and poking his nose.

"Then what is it? Daddy was worried!" Jeongguk let out a sigh of relief. If anything had happened to his little, no matter how minor the incident, he wouldn't forgive himself for not being there to prevent whatever happened, he knew how clumsy Tae was when he wasn't in a big headspace.

"Yoonie doesn't know Jiminie is little!" Tae exclaimed, his eyes widening as he shouted. He couldn't quite comprehend that Yoongi doesn't know that Jimin is a little, in his precious mind, every little should have a caregiver. Anything else is completely absurd to him!

"I know, baby, but you have to promise you won't tell Yoongi! Jimin needs to tell Yoongi when he's ready. Joonie didn't tell Uncle Jinnie that he was little until two years into their relationship! Jiminie has to wait until he's ready, baby," Jeongguk tried his best to explain, and Taehyung understood to an extent, he really did try to get his head around everything Jeongguk had just told him, but he still thought that Yoongi should be Jimin's caregiver, they have been dating for nearly a year and a half!

"Thank you, Uncle Ggukie," Jimin muttered, still aimlessly playing with the stuffed bear Tae had given him only minutes prior.

The whole situation was eventually forgotten, and the two littles were peacefully colouring pretty pictures in their colouring books whilst Jeongguk scrolled through his phone, only half paying attention to the posts appearing on his Instagram timeline. He was very conflicted, to say the least. Jeongguk and Yoongi go way back, they practically grew up together. He knew that Yoongi was a caregiver, hell, it was Yoongi that introduced Jeongguk to the magical world of little space. He desperately wanted to tell Yoongi that Jimin was, in fact, a little, it would only be fair that Yoongi knew, and not only him. Yoongi was whipped for Jimin, and he knew Jimin felt the same, but he didn't want to betray them like that.

He was in a tough situation, and his little predicament couldn't have gotten any worse. That is, of course, until Yoongi walked through the door to Jimin's apartment.

hi !! forgive me if there are any mistakes in this, i tried my best to read through it and correct any mistakes but i'm bound to miss a few.

this is the longest chapter yet wow

if ur liking this so far give me a cheeky follow so i know to publish more works in the future ;-)

also, for reference, i just wanna pop in to say that a) some of this book is based off of personal experiences (how i deal with shit) and b) sometimes i'll end up writing a full blown fuckin shakespeare chapter, and other times it'll be primary school worthy, it depends on my mood and who i'm writing about (e.g. if i'm writing about jimin i'll write with more basic vocabulary, however if i'm writing about yoongi i'll probably tend to use more advanced vocabulary)

for the songs i literally just listened to a bazzi and blackbear playlist :-)
