Chapter 23

Finn's POV

I had hated unity day now this was gonna be one to remember.
I waited in the forest for a good five minutes till I saw Clarke's small figure peeking out threw the darkness.

"Lets go!" she said and I started walking.
"Since when have you been talking with Octavia ... I mean your friends but you never really talk how'd this happen?" she asked me while hopping over a log.

"She asked me on our first day here , that if she needs anybody to talk to that I could be me." I said as we arrived to see Octavia and Linda close by each other.

"I'm Clarke" Clarke said and smiled.
"I'm Linda , are you ready to meet our leader?" she asked Clarke an she nodded and started walking toward the bridge.

Then she stops me and says "she goes alone from here" I looked at Clarke and said said "I'll be okay" and walked toward the middle of the bridge.

Clarke's POV

As I walked to the bridge I heard a galloping sound. "oh my gosh...HORSES!!" I said as I was amazed by the beautiful creatures and saw a young woman a out my age get off her horse. she had dirt makeup on her face.

"I'm Clarke" I said to her.
"I'm Anya... they tell me you want to be at peace yet you show us acts of war." she said as I got confused.
"No , we never did anything" I said.
"Those missiles you launch burnt down an entire Village." she yelled with an attitude.
"Those ...those were fireworks ... so our people could come down. We meant to harm to your people. they are coming down soon and-" she cut me off.
"There's more of you... this will end wen worse. can you promise me they'll keep there word and not bother us" she asked.
"Ill do my best , that I can " I said with sympathy.
"That's not good enough." she said as I heard a shout.

"CLARKE THERE'S GROUNDERS INTHE TREE WITH WEAPONS...RUNN!" Jasper screamed as he fired his gun. now arrows were flying through the air and I saw Finn running toward me. "Clarke follow me!' He said as an arrow grazed the skin on my leg.

Bellamy's POV

Me ,jasper , and Raven had followed them to the brigade and we were hidden.
"Don't get why Finn is doing this, the grounders suck and thy hate us" she said with attitude.
"Or you just hate Clarke" I said with out even knowing they were my words.
"Whatever...The grounder princess looks pissed." raven said while pointing her gun.
"Our princess has that effect" I said while looking at the two of them talking.

"There's grounders in the trees,the-there's grounders in the trees!" he screamed and got up with his gun.
"Where u don't see them." we said as he started shooting. Then arrows darted through the air as we ran for it.

"What the hell!!" I screamed. then walk here took 4 hours but we were gonna have to run.
I made sure every one went in front of me. Octavia ,Jasper ,Raven ,Finn ,Clarke and ,me.

"Ahh" I heard a yelp as it rained on us hard. I looked back to see Clarke had fallen and I had reached out my hand but she didn't take it she got up by herself.

Then we got back to the path outside the gate. "you ruined everything" Octavia said to Jasper and stormed off.
Then he said "This is your fault." He said looking at Clarke and Finn.
"You didn't have to trust the grounder Clarke ,you just had to trust me." he yelled at her and walked away raven quickly following him.

"Best unity day ever!" I said looking at the sky and saw a drop ship.

"Looks like your moms coming very early?" I said sounding like a question.

Clarke's POV

"Yeah!" I said in a sarcastic manner. As I looked up I saw that it was going way to fast.
"Wait ...no parachute !too much speed... something wrong with-" but I stopped to wait. Then I saw a colossal explosion. Something inside me hurt almost like I got stabbed in the heart. our family's, my only family, my mom was on that.

"N-no- no, maybe the-there's survivors, I mean its not that b-b-bad ... right?" I said all at once ,I noticed I had been shaking.
Then my legs had buckled from under me and now I was in the ground. looking at the sky I started to break down crying in shock.
"I'm sorry" Bellamy said but I didn't hear him. Then he placed his hand on my shoulder for a fraction of a second while looking at me.

"We have to get you inside." he said he said but I quickly protested "no ...she still alive.... I have to help her!" I yelled while heading towards the hill. Bellamy pulled me away.
"She's dead Clarke , you can't save her !!" he yelled at me kind of.
"Bu-but-She- got my father killed , she needs to now I forgive her" I said and started breathing heavily.

Bellamy's POV

Now it's was only me and Clarke.
After we had seen the drop ship crash and explode. I looked down to see Clarke body fall onto the ground.

"We have to help her.." she said crying.
"She dead Clarke , you can't save her." I said almost feeling bad. now she was breathing heavily. I tried to comfort her bit she did not want to be near me right now.

"She needs to know that I forgave. Fo-for getting our father floated." She screamed and made a run for the hills.
I quickly grabbed her and said "calm down , its gonna be okay" I said and saw Finn walking towards us.

"Clarke!!" he said looking at her teary blue eyes.
"M-my mom was on the ship when it exploded!" she said as he put an arm around her and took her to camp. I managed to pat her on the back beefier he left with her. to let her know I truly am sorry.

Her father,Adam,charlotte, wells, Thalia , and now her mother had been dead.
