I walk into school an everybody is either freaking out or about to cry. I see Lizzy in tears and sobbing uncontrolably. "What's going on?' i ask. "Wouldn't you like to know." She says rudely. She scoffs and goes to talk to her boyfriend, which is all she talks about. They talk and basically drool all over eachother. I have to stop myself from gagging and I walk to homeroom. Jay Jay is sitting next to Steve. All the blood is drowned from her face and her hair is much thinner than usual. She gives me a dirty look and raises her hand. "Mr. Abernathy, Tory is staring at me." She tattles. "Tory please come over here." Mr.Abernathy asks. I walk over and he starts, "Tory, did Jay Jay tell you she has cancer?" I am dumbfounded. Jay Jay has cancer? "What?" I ask He nods. I give him an apologetic look and go back to my desk. I quickly wrote a note in the middle of class and pass it to Steve who passes it to Jay Jay, it read.
T- so you have cancer?
JJ- none of your business.
T- I was just wondering
S- can you guys pay attention? I don't want to get in trouble for passing your notes.
JJ- Yea Tory keep Steve out of this.
S- don't fight. Why can't you guys be #2 best friends again?
T- we'll as soon as JJ stops over reacting
JJ- u take that back! u just made fun of a girl with cancer!
T- See, u over react-
"Miss Cat can you tell me why u are passing notes?"
