"I don't know why this is necessary." I asked, looking at the arc reactor.
"It's to keep shrapnel or fragments from entering your heart." He said.
"Like you?"
"Yes." Tony said.
"Well, I'll check on the city."
"Uh why, so you can look for Peter?"
"Pfft! What? No!" She scoffed, she jumped into her suit and flew off the balcony.
•••
"Hey May." Peter said, May jumped off the couch and swung her arms around him. "Peter! Oh my gosh! I missed you so much! How was it?" She asked.
"It was good, I loved it!"
"Oh that's good. Well I made a special dish for your welcome home. Uh, also Tony called and wanted to speak to you." She said while walking into the kitchen.
"W-What?" Peter stuttered.
"Tony? He called and wanted to speak with you. It might be the grant again." She smiled.
"Uh--yeah, I'll meet him tomorrow." Peter said. He ran to his room and pulled out his suit from the closet.
"Oh, I missed you." He muttered to himself as he stared at his suit.
•••
I stood on a building, staring at the big buildings that had a few lights shimmer out of them, giving them beauty.
"Why did you come back?" I asked, not even looking to who walked behind me.
"Because I wanted to." A familiar voice said.
I didn't turn around, I just stood there. "I never wanted you to come back." I said.
"I came so I could take care of May."
"Just May? W-What about the people? What about the city? You left it for two years, Peter! Two years!" I turned around facing the masked Peter.
"Y/N--"
"No! I'm done with this! I'm done with you! Tony shouldn't have given you the suit." I muttered, I flew off back to the Avengers Quarters.
I landed on the platform and weird machines hover over me. "Friday, tell Tony I'm home." I said, the parts of my suit finally detached from me and I kept walking.
"Yes, Y/N."
"Hey, kiddo." Steve said, he gave me a warming smile which I returned.
"Everything alright?" He asked, I nodded my head and walked into the big room.
"I'm fine, I just went out, that's all." I said while shrugging.
"Well, just checking on you." He smiled while patting my back before walking away.
"Ugh." I groaned out, walking up the stares to my bedroom.
I sat on my bed and my phone was ringing. I picked it up and noticed the unknown caller, I sighed knowing it was probably prank callers who dare to call the daughter of Tony Stark.
I answered.
"Hello?"
"Y/N--don't hang up." It was Peter, I hung up and threw my phone across the room.
•••
"Did she answer?" Ned asked.
I shook my head. "She did, but she hung up once she heard me speak." I sighed, plopping on to my bed. "You should talk to her, or maybe Tony."
"Trust me, I'm the last person she wants to talk to right now." Peter scoffed.
"Just call Tony." Ned suggested, Peter shook his head. "He hates me." Peter muttered.
"He hated you when you first became a hero, Peter." Ned rolled his eyes.
Peter bit his lip and sighed, thinking on what to do.
•••
There was grunting and pants in the training room. Y/N swung at the punching bag and kicked it, making it fly across the room.
"Holy crap." Y/N hissed at what she done. She heard someone behind her and she back kicked them before locking their arm behind their back.
"Agh!"
"Peter?" I asked.
"Yes! It's me!" Peter winced at the pain. I didn't get him go, I kept my grip. "Why are you here!" I shouted, he winced more.
"I wanted to talk to you!" He hisses out. I let go of him and sighed, crossing my arms across my chest.
"Ah, God, how do you get so strong?" Peter said between his gritted teeth and rubbed his arm. "I train. With Buck." I said, he nodded and walked towards me.
To me, Peter's height was more taller than me, Peter was the one who was the short one back then.
"You didn't have to come back." I muttered, he cupped my cheek which I flinched at the gesture.
"I wanted to. You're the thing that was on my mind. I wish you would've came but you didn't. I didn't feel like myself without you." He said softly, he placed his forehead on mine and we kept eye contact.
"I missed being with you." He whispered.
"Can you be my Iron Girl, again?" He smiled, I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck. "How can I say "No" to Spider-Boy." I smiled.
"Spider-Man." He corrected and he rolled his eyes. I giggled as we both leaned in. God! I missed his lips on mine, they were soft and his grip on my waist tightened a bit.
"Easy there, Lover Boy. I'm still Tony Starks daughter." I smirked. He shook his head and chuckled. "I don't care, I missed you." He said before kissing me harshly but lovingly.
