"Hey baby" Lauren said when she looked at me stepping out in the terrace, she was was sitting in the small couch that was there, she was looking at me with sad eyes and with a small smile in her lips, her eyes were a little bit puffy and red from being crying. "this night didn't go as we expected, right?" she said after she cuddle up with me in the couch, she was leaning in my chest while looking at the night sky we had above us.

The night indeed ended pretty bad, after all the errands Lauren and her family had to run, the service began, the coffin was very beautiful, there were all types of flowers around the house, even Cameron's favorites -roses, as Lauren informed me. There was some kind a religious talks, some songs sung, a lot of crying from Cameron's family and from Clara, Taylor and Chris, but not Lauren, Lauren remained calm almost all night, she was very sweet and attentive with all the attendees, she didn't shed a single tear in all the service but I know what she was doing, she was hiding all the pain she was feeling, putting the strongest mask on her face, but, I saw her break while cleaning the crime scene, there was too much blood for her to see, I couldn't see her cleaning her dad's blood, so I call a cleaning company, but she insisted in being there while they were doing it, she was so stubborn and I was stubborn as well, that's why I keep my place besides her. At first she just stare at the guy cleaning, her gaze was empty, but as the carpet was being removed and the blood underneath was revealed, she lost it, she lost her shit, the first thing that appear was her difficulty to breath, then the flowing tears, and the last, those painful whimpers and screams, she fall on her knees and cry harder, I held her against my chest until they finished cleaning, I paid them and I took her upstairs so she could rest for a bit before the difficult night we had ahead.

"Dinah, do you think I can talk to you for a second?" Her mother talked to me as I was entering to the guest bedroom, with Lauren sleeping in my arms.

"Sure thing, Ms. Morgado, I will be glad to, just let me put her in bed okay?" She nodded and I proceed to let my girlfriend in bed, she sighed as I put her in bed then I covered her with a blanket, I was about to leave when I heard her calling me, I came closer to her and she pulled me into her by my arm.

"Baby?" she whispered with her husky voice.

"Yes?" I replied in a lower voice.

"Thank you... for everything" she said opening her eyes and locking them with mine.

"Anytime Sweetie" I shyly smiled.

"I love you, no matter what, I will always love you okay, never leave me okay?" she said with a lump in her throat.

"I love you even more, I will never leave you" I kissed her forehead "Please rest, I will come later to get ready okay, but rest please" I begged her.

"Yes ma'am" she slightly smiled.

"Good girl" I pecked her lips and exited the room, Ms. Morgado was there in the hall waiting for me, as I close the door she indicated me the way to one of the rooms that was like a reading room, well more like a library, she invited me to sit and offered me a cup of tea, I accepted it and I took seat in once of the sofas there, she gave me the cup and she took hers and sat in front of me.

"Well Dinah, I wanted to first thank you about the cleaning guys that you hired, it was very nice of you, it would have been too hard for Lauren to clean that, well it would have been hard for any of us, so thank you..." she said.

"It's was a pleasure to smooth this for you, I'm really sorry for your loss, Lauren is very..."

"But don't get confused Dinah, I know what are you... and I really don't want you near my daughter, you're going to confuse her and she doesn't need that, she is not a dyke like you..."
