Laurinah one shots

Mama

"Mamá?" A soft voice dragged away Lauren from her sleep.

"Yes?" Lauren whispered softly opening her eyes trying to focus on the small figure in the dark.

"Can I... can I sleep with you?"his voice was hesitantly.

"Of course Baby, come here, but be quiet, okay? Mommy is sleeping" Lauren whispered to the small raven haired boy as she pulled him in the bed next to her.

"Mommy's sleeping, I'll be quite" he whispered back.

"Quiet" Lauren corrected softly as they snuggled together trying to not wake up Dinah.

"Quiet" he repeated as he put her arms around his mamá.

As the boy was fast asleep, Lauren was ready to fall asleep but an arm around her dragged her away from her sleep once again.

"I love you" she murmured against Lauren's naked shoulder as she intertwined her fingers with her wife's.

"I love you too baby" was the last thing Lauren said before falling asleep with her family.

Lauren woke up early the next morning, as she usually does, but instead of getting up and cooking breakfast she stayed in bed watching her son and wife sleep. 

Alexandre, Alex as they call him, is 4 years old, he looks a lot like Lauren, dark hair, thick eyebrows and green emerald eyes, but he also looks a lot like Dinah, tan skin, wavy hair and plump lips like her mommy. Alex was a very quiet and a very well behaved kid which really make Lauren and Dinah proud, however Alex throws tantrums every once in a while, over silly but important things at least to a 4 year old, like last month, Alex threw a huge tantrum when mommy didn't give him a good night kiss or call like when she is out of town for a business trip. Dinah was having a business dinner and she couldn't got away to call her son at the schedule goodbye call, Lauren's a little freak control so they have schedules and Alex likes to follow them. At the end of that night Dinah had to excuse herself from the dinner because she got a tantrum emergency at home, gratefully the investors understood and let her go to her room without a fight, once at her hotel room, Dinah called to an uncontrollably tearful Lauren, who was clearly frustrated as she couldn't get Alex to fall asleep or stop crying without her mommy good night kiss/call.

After she could calm her wife a little she softly but firmly demanded to talk to the screaming toddler.

"Alex, please stop crying, mommy is calling" Lauren tried with hoarse voice from crying, the kid wasn't stopping, as a matter of fact the situation got worse.

"YOU'RE A LIAR, MOMMY IS NOT CALLING! LIAR LIAR!" He scream and Lauren could hear Dinah asking her to put her on speaker which Lauren immediately did.

"Alexandre!" Dinah raised her voice a little so he could hear "stop the tantrum now" he did "you haven't been a good boy today, take the phone and turn off the speaker I want to talk to you" they boy did as Lauren went to the doorstep and sat against the door watching Alex talking to her mommy, finally not screaming " you made mama cry, look at her, she is crying, she is desperate because she doesn't want you to hurt yourself due to your tantrum, and what did you do?" She asked but the little boy kept quiet "Alexandre, I'm asking you a question"

"I disobeyed her and made her cry..." he said softly but regretful.

"True that, I love you Alex and I understand that you are used to get my good night kiss or call but today I was very busy and mama told you to go to sleep and when I was free to call you she would wake you up, she is trying to take good care of you when she says it's time to go to sleep and she was trying to help me finish this deal with my coworkers, you know that's important right?" The boy hummed affirmatively "so what you need to do is apologize with you mamá and tomorrow when I get home we will talk about your behavior. Understood?"
