8. Just my luck

Evan's pov.

I was still laying on Vanoss and I actually found out its a she because she's so protective as if I'm her baby and she doesn't have any male parts.
I guess she didn't see me as well yet but had already let moo go cause he can heal way faster than I can.

I feel a feather on my head and I looked up to see vanoss trying to lay a big feather on my head.

"I'm not a girl stop trying to make me pretty." I kept trying to move her face away but she kept trying to add more feathers.

*knock knock*

Both, me and vanoss turn to see who was at the door and it was Brock.

Brock-"Hey Evan... and Vanoss. I wanted to thank you for helping out back there and saving both me and Evan." Vanoss looked over at him and nodded her head like she was telling him your welcome.

"Vanoss can we go now, I don't want to stay in this room much longer?" I stood up looking at what Vanoss might do. All she did was transform into her smaller owl self and land on my shoulder.

I walked down stairs to the living room to see all the guy's sitting there talking about something. That was until Brian saw me and motioned to the rest of them that I was there. I watched as they all stand up and I felt how Vanoss slowly started to arch her wings, so I petted her head to make her settle down.

Lui-"Well Evan we have decided again that you will be watched as we go do something very important. Even if we're monsters that doesn't mean we don't have things to do."

"Who'll be watching me?"

Nogla and Brian had stood up when I asked the question.

Nogla-"We and me dear Brian will be."

Brian-"Yep and while we are here you'll need to be getting back to what you were doing when you first got here, understood?" I nodded my head as vanoss screeched and flew to Brians face and scratched his cheek.

Brian-"Focking bird!!!"

Nogla-"I don't think the owl likes you."

Brian-"Fock off!!" He grumbled and waved the others good bye as they left the mansion.

Brian-"Now off to work with you I don't have time for bull shit."

Nogla gently took my hand as he lead me away for that irish prick or a monster. He took me to the kitchen as he showed me all the dirty plates and just wow that... that's alot of dirty things u need to wash, it's like they don't do nothing here.

Nogla-"Welp here's the first mess you need to clean and believe me Brock usually does it but since your here, your basically replacing him for his cleaning ability. And don't try to anger Brian more than he already is, it's not that he's mad, he's just a very sad guy." After he said that I tilted my head at him in confusion.

"Why sad?"

Nogla scratched the back of his head nervously trying to think if he should tell me or not.

Nogla-"Well um..w-" He was interrupted by a loud banging sound coming from the kitchen. Making me jump at the noise and nogla stand up guarding me, until we saw a pissed off Brian.

He walked up to me and grabed me by my neck.

Brian-"I'm not going to tell you again to stop trying to dig your way into our lives!! We don't love or like you so stop thinking you have any chance of finding it here!!!!!" He yelled as his eye turned red. I was shaking to the point I couldn't speak.

Nogla-"ENOUGH!!!!!!" He pushed Brian off me and held me to his side.

Nogla-"He did nothing wrong so why don't you go to your cooling station?!"
