Maybe Geno shouldn't have been so harsh on Death. Maybe he shouldn't have blamed him.
But it was pretty much too late, Death left and he was all alone again. No one dared stepped any closer to him, at his current stage of mind, he would have lashed out at them.
So in short, he needs anger management.
Death, on the other hand, wasn't feeling any better either. He didn't felt like doing anything for a whole day, his brother was kind enough to help do his job.
He tried talking to Life, Toriel, but she wasn't much of help. Remember, she used to had a crush on Death one time. She kept encouraging him to forget about Geno but Death just couldn't.
He would have went back and talked to Geno, but he figured Geno wouldn't like that either.
Both of them kept to themselves for a while, avoiding any social interaction with anyone.
"Go talk to him." Core Frisk had had it. They couldn't stand Geno's depressed state any longer, if he doesn't do anything about it, he might as well die in a hole.
"Go away." Geno teleported to the other side of the Omega Timeline, Core Frisk appeared in front of him again.
"If you don't go talk to him, I'll make you." Core Frisk threatened, which would have been terrifying if they weren't a small kid and adorable.
"Go away, kid."
"Excuse me? I'm older than you, you know?" Core Frisk pretended to be offended to lighten the mood but it did nothing.
"He hates me." Geno curled into a ball.
"Stop whining. He doesn't hate you."
"How would you know?"
"I know a lot of things, including the fact that he doesn't hate you."
"He's probably hiding the grudge..." Geno turned away from Core Frisk.
Core Frisk let out a frustrated groan and walked over to where Geno was facing. "Get up."
"No."
"I said..." Core Frisk clenched their jaw. "GET UP, YOU DEPRESSING BLOB!"
"Yes ma'am, I mean, sir or something something..." Geno stood up straight, he knew he was close to the Core Frisk's breaking point.
"I want you, to find Death and t-a-l-k to him." Core Frisk gestured to the Omega Timeline's door.
Geno looked over at the door and tilted his head, "I thought you didn't like-"
"SHUT UP AND GO."
"Yes ma-"
"JUST GO."
"Got it." Geno bolted to the door, if Core Frisk still possessed blood, their face would have been boiling red.
Meanwhile, Death was making a very pitiful breakfast, a piece of toast and one cereal piece, his face was on the table and he looked mega tired.
Geno fell out of the bathroom door.
Death jolted up and turned around to look at Geno, who was face planted into the ground, his white eye pupils disappeared at the sight of the skeleton.
Geno got up slowly and covered his face with his red scarf, half embarrassed and nervous, he stood there silently and waited for Death to acknowledge his presence.
"You look cute when you're like that." Death said randomly, Geno lowered his scarf and looked half angry and half flustered.
"I'm leaving." Geno turned back to the door he came out of.
"Wait, no, sorry!" Death got off his chair and scurried to Geno's side and made sure not to touch him. "I-I missed you."
"..." Geno avoided eye-contact, he felt so awkward, he thought Death hated him now for everything that happened forever ago. "Well, I didn't. Core Frisk basically forced me to come."
Death held in a laugh and muttered "Tsundere" to himself.
"Wow that's sure was nice of them!" Death sarcastically yet cheerfully said.
Geno smiled and replied the same way Death did. "Yeah! It was!"
They both broke into laughter.
