Chapter 1

Sitting alone with no one to talk to on the first day of senior year is not really an ideal position to be in right? Well guess what, that's me. That pretty, antisocial, depressed blonde, sitting alone is me. It's always been like that though so I am pretty used to it.

My parents love to move ( I have lived in 20 different places in 12 different states). plus my parents hate me and treat me like trash, they say I was an accident and they should have given me away. you see my parents where full blown rocker kids. they were crackheads and experimented a lot. you can imagine their shock when my moms stomach started growing and they found that she was pregnant. i think they blamed me for the fact that there " lives " were over. I don't believe them though because if that was 100% true they would have given me away. I have never really had friends, we move to often to make real friends, and if we are always moving what's the point. I stopped trying to be social and make friends a while ago. i had tried once when we were in New York. her name was Abigail.  we met in 7th grade i was there all year. we were practically inseparable. she had beautiful long black hair and blue eyes. all the guys were after her. we did everything together. i was shy to everyone but her. it broke my heart when my parents told me we were moving again. we said we would keep in touch but of course that never happened.

Sitting there I was thinking, maybe this is the lucky move? Not a chance, there is no such thing as a lucky move for me, it simply just doesn't exist. last time i ended up in a school full of perverts and lets just say i begged them to move. I reached into my backpack and pulled out a book, one of my favorites "The fault in our stars" and read. Reading is my favorite thing. I guess you can think of it as a way of escape for me. I can fall into the depths of reading and forget about all of my problems.

All of a sudden I could feel a presence, like someone was standing over me. It sent shivers down my spine. I looked up hoping it was nothing but of course, there was someone standing over me. A boy, he had beiber cut black hair and beautiful hazel colored eyes.

" Hey, umm.... I'm Brian umm....I was wondering, is that the fault in our stars? " He said.

"Umm.... Yes, why?" I replied.

" Well, that's kinda one of my favorite books...." He said shyly.

" No way mine too! I'm Olivia by the way" I said.

Just then the bell rang signaling it was time for 1st period.

" Maybe I'll see you around sometime" he said.

" Yeah, sure, I mean I hope so, uh by" I said, star struck, and hurried of to class.
