At lunch I sat alone with Brian in one of the booths. I love these booths, they are so cozy and isolated. It is nice to be alone with Brian. In the middle of the table was a plate of veggie roll sushi that we were splitting. Veggie roll sushi is the only kind of sushi I will eat, I just can't stand the idea of eating raw fish, but don't get me wrong I love sushi!

While we were sitting there I looked around the lunchroom; there were cliques everywhere! gamers, populars, jocks, student GOV. ect. that was when I noticed the same girl from before, Emily.

She was wondering awkwardly around the lunchroom looking for a seat. It didn't look like anyone would sit with her, so I called her name and motioned for her to come over. Her face turned red and she hurried over. I patted the space right next to me and she sat down.

" Hello Emily " I said

She nodded in response.

" Umm.... Emily this is Brian, Brian this is Emily " I said in an attempt to introduce them.

" Hi " said Brian.

Emily looked up at him eyeing him as if she were considering if she could trust him.

" Hi " she finally peeped.

Brian smiled proudly, as if it was an accomplishment that he got her to talk. I kicked him under the table and gave him the stink eye. we all ate together and I offered Emily some of our sushi and we talked about how much we hated Mr. Gamblers class. Well, Emily didn't really talk just nodded and smiled and blushed, its okay though because I am super good at reading face expressions, I am not so sure about Brian though....
