The sun was out of sight when Rose Cinderella closed the meeting that she was leading that day.

"Okay, guys. I think everything is clear enough, we already understand our respective roles in this team. We can do this! I surely believe in you guys. Just think like in fairy tales, that every story has its happy ending. And to end this, I wanna say thank you all for coming and thank you for your contributions. See you again tomorrow with a higher spirit. Good night everyone!"

Just when everybody in that room was about to leave, suddenly Rose spoke up, "Oh, and remember, the summer holiday is on next week! Try not to be so exciteeed!"

Some of the team members were laughing as their responses, and some others shouting, "Wohoo!"

Once the meeting room was empty, Rose shuffled into the next room, which was her room.

She reached her big table. A steel nameplate marked 'Editor in Chief' was attached on the front side of the table. She looked at her laptop screen and her fingers started typing something.

Not for long, there was a knock from the door.

"Yes, come in." Rose gave her permission.

Rose lifted her head from the laptop. A young woman, which was her assistant, opened the door and told her, "Rose, you have a special guest." Then she winked an eye.

Behind the assistant, following Hawk Snow White, who then walked past the assistant to enter Rose's room.

"Okay, I'm leaving you two." Said Rose's assistant as she closed the door.

"Thank you, Katie!" Rose replied.

Hawk approached Rose's chair and planted a kiss on her cheek when he reached her.

"Hi, beautiful." Said Hawk smiling. He rested a hand on the table, while the other held the back of Rose's chair.

"Hi there, handsome." Rose replied, placing a hand on his chest. "What makes you come here?"

"I'm just missing you. You know, we seem haven't met each other for, how long? A week?"

Rose laughed, "Three days."

"Right, three days. That's a quite long time."

"Yeah, it's very difficult if we don't have the tools for communication. Though mobile phones could be very useful."

"Exactly, and it's so upsetting that phones aren't working in Fairy Tale Land. But I don't mind anyway if I have to come to you Rose, even if it's every day!" Hawk said excitedly, which made Rose laugh again.

"Just do whatever you want, cause obviously I won't mind either." Said Rose smiling widely.

"By the way, can we go now? I'm starving, and looks like there's a new restaurant on the corner. I think I wanna try it."

Rose tilted her head, "Seems like this Fairy Tale Prince just started to blend with the Earth. I don't even notice there's a new restaurant."

"Well, that one probably because you've been paying more attention to your job lately. Remember Rose, sometimes you have to keep relaxed, I think you even should take a vacation occasionally. Job can wait, but your health doesn't." Hawk said as he stroked her blonde hair gently.

"You're right, Hawk." Rose sighed. "And speaking of vacation, there's something I want to talk about. But hold on a sec, there's still a little work to do, then we can try that new restaurant while talking about holiday."
She looked back at her laptop.

"Okay, I'll wait here." Hawk walked over to the nearest sofa, and immediately jumped on it.

Shortly thereafter, they arrived at the restaurant by Rose's car. It was an Italian restaurant with its romantic signature. Illuminated trees, hanging lights, and cozy sofas created a charming and breezy atmosphere.

After checking in at the front desk, a bubbly receptionist ushered them to their table. Just then, a waiter came by to take their orders and told them about the specials. Before long, they were tucking into a delicious meal.

"So, what about the holiday?" Hawk asked while chewing.

Rose looked up. "Oh, I was thinking about a place. Paris!"

Hawk frowned. "But sweetheart, we've been there about three times."

"I know, but I never get bored with Paris."
Rose grinned. Then her gaze returned to her food.

Hawk was silent for a second, thoughtful.
"I have an idea."

"What?" She responded while stuffing food into her mouth.

"We — I mean you, me, Travis, Lingling, Astoria, and Joy, haven't been together for a long time, you know, ever since we were bothered by this busy-grown up things."

"So, what you want to say is, we all go together like we used to?"

Hawk nodded. "How?"

"Of course I'm in!" Rose looked excited.
"To Paris?" She grinned again.

"Oh, come on Rose, I even feel like I already know very well about that city. I think we have to choose something different, something we haven't tried together."

Rose frowned. "Such as?"

"Camping."

"Camping?"

"On a beach. On Earth."

"Wow, such a great idea!"

Hawk just shrugged as his response. His face looked arrogant.

"To be honest, I really miss those guys. My very best friends." Rose stared into the air.

"Okay," Rose continued, "I know the best beach in South. Summer holiday starts next week. Let's arrange again later, because in this whole week, my work will be like hell! After that, I'm free as a bird!" She opened her arms widely.

"Great! I'll inform the gang. Anyway, how's work, Ms. Editor in Chief?" Hawk smirked. "What project will you do this week, that you call it hell?"

"Well, we got a crazy assignment from the magazine's Top Management, with of course crazy deadline. It's madly insane, but on the other hand, I have to keep encouraging my team, you know, to avoid them from getting literally insane. Gosh, I don't even want to talk about it. And how about you, Mr. Heroism Class Teacher? Got a crazy student yet?"

Hawk released a small laugh. "A couple. But just a typical troublemaker. Not as crazy as Vicky did. Overall, I really enjoy this job."

They were lost in their conversation until it was almost midnight.

The two of them laughed together when went out of the restaurant, and Rose slipped her hand into Hawk's as they walked to her car.

Once inside, Rose drove the car fast. After several blocks, they reached the corner of the road to the portal.

"And here we are. Honestly, I still want to spend the night with you, but I don't want my old bad habits happened again. Late, that is." Rose said gloomily.

"I know. Our responsibility now is so enormous. And I know you'll make it through this." Hawk smiled.

"Thanks for your support, and your endless love." Rose replied.

Rose placed a hand on his cheek and leaned forward to kiss him. He pulled her closer and lengthened the kiss.

"Anything for my Rose." He whispered as they broke the kiss.

A few moments later, he left with a wave, then stuffed his hands into his pockets and headed away toward the portal.

Little did she know, the blue-haired man had another plan in his head.
