After about five months, Lisanna and I were heading back to Magnolia from Ely. I missed the nice beaches and forests the town had to offer, but I missed my hometown more.

"Feels nice to come back, don't you think?" asked Lisanna. I nodded. It was nice to be heading back.

We decided to hit the road. After all, walking once in a while wouldn't hurt. The road was pretty rocky and dirty, and I had to stop multiple times to clean the dirt out of my shoes.

Once we had to stop for the thirtieth time in 40 minutes, Lisanna seemed a bit annoyed. "Why don't we buy you new shoes?" she asked, "we've got 10000000 jewels now. We have enough."

"No, I like mine." I took it off and poured out the dirt and stones inside.

"Why don't you change them? You've been wearing the same pair for quite some time. They're falling apart."

"Well," I tried not to look embarrassed, "they were a gift from someone special."

"Aw, really?" She smiled, "are they from a boy?"

"No!" I snapped. Then I noticed her seeming to lower her head in shame. "Sorry," I said apologetically, "I don't normally talk like that. I'm just bothered by some things, that's all."

"Well," she said, "if it's alright, you could always ask me. I know what its like to be the youngest in your family. If there is something bothering you about your sister, you can say."

I took a deep breath. "It's not only my sister," I mumbled, "I'm worried about my magic energy. the strength of it was increasing dramatically, and also..." I tried not to look too embarrassed, "uh, me and Gray kind of had an argument." I played with the ends of my hair. "I shouldn't be telling you this. Sorry for bothering you."

"No of course not," Lisanna said, putting a hand on my shoulder, "I don't mind, but let's solve each problem first by themselves." She grinned. "If you're worried about your sister, why don't we check on her on our way back?"

"I would do that," I said, "except...I'm not sure where she lives now. When I was with her, she was living in the Grimoire Heart dormitory, but since the guild was disbanded, I'm not sure where she is now."

"We could check on their old guild hall for her," Lisanna suggested, "it may be gone after seven years, but its worth a shot, don't you think?"

I nodded, and we then set course for the guild hall. As we were walking towards the area, I said "you were wondering where I got my shoes,"

"No, its okay," she said, "you don-"

"No, I'll tell you," I interrupted, "I got them from my sister, Ultear."

"Then she must be very nice to give you some," she said, "she couldn't be evil then, can she?"

"I dunno," I said, "I haven't met her since we were separated during the Tenrou thing. I'm not sure if she is still a good person, but I just want to check."

As we neared the area, I braced myself for the worst. She could've become my biggest enemy, or she may still love me, or she may be even dead. Evil wizards tend to have a shorter lifespan.

As we approached, I saw many differences. Instead of a guild hall, there was a residential home for the elderly. It was called "Magnolia's Finest."

I was not so surprised that the place has been converted. After all, its been seven years or so, since Grimoire Heart was defeated. However, there was no Ultear in sight, only an old woman in a purple dress coming out of it.

"Hey ma'am," I greeted her politely, "I was wondering, is this the place that used to be Grimoire Heart?"

"Yes it is indeed," she said, her voice oddly familiar, but I didn't know why. "Do you know their whereabouts?"

"No, I don't, sorry," she said. Then she reached into her bag and grabbed out a letter. She pressed it into my hand, surprising me. "This is for you from the one you seek. I'm merely a messenger."

I grasped the letter. On the cover, it said "Y/N. From Ultear." I looked at her and said, "thanks, but how do you know-"

"I have to go, dearie," she said kindly, "but remember this. Your past may be tragic, but never forget those who impacted your life." Then she went off.

"Hey!" I said, but she ignored me and disappeared. "What does the letter say?" Lisanna asked.

I held it gently. I didn't want to open it yet, not now. "I'll look inside later," I said, "but now, we need to get you some shoes."

For some odd reason, I didn't want to search for my sister anymore. It was like I found her, but I didn't know how or when. We continued the rest of the way back to the guild.
