Chanyeol didn't know what went through his head when he called Tiffany for the random meeting, but yet here he is. — About to meet the girl he had a crush on since high school.

The girl he used to run after in order to win her attention. The same girl for whom he had turned into an absolute fool.

He smiles, amused by his own dumbness, as he stares at the coffee placed on the wooden table. Those were times. — A whole chapter he need to finish now.

It's time, time to let the ghosts of his past fade.

To let her fade.

And to write the rest of his very own story.

The warmness over the coffee runs down his lungs, providing him with a heat which starts to surround his inside before crushing him into a tight hug. Somehow, he can't stop but be nervous, nervous about what was about to happen. — Nervous about the massive change which is waiting for him.

It's time.

As he is swimming in deepest of his thoughts a body shifts its way towards him before taking a seat directly across of him.

"Hey." A soft, high-pitched voice enters his ears, pulling him back into reality in just a single second. He gulps heavily, playing with his fingers nervously as seconds turn into minutes and minutes into hours. It's time.

Slowly, oh so carefully, he looks up, right into the dark eyes of the ghost of his past. He doesn't know why but his breath is stuck in his lungs and his body covered in stains of sweat all of a sudden. You're just going to talk to her, nothing more.

"Chanyeol? Are you okay?"

"Y-yes. I'm sorry.. I was just thinking."

A smile makes its way onto her lips, her hand running through the raven of her hair. "I see. Thinking so damn much isn't good for you health Oppa, you should try to relax more."

Relax more huh? He smiles back at the girl, pushing the glasses back onto his nose. "Probably.. I wish it would be that easy though."

"It is. You're just stuffing all your problems inside of you and avoid to talk about them even though you have a lot friends with whom you could always talk.. like me and Sehun."

Friends.

She's right. Beside of this pathetic crush I used to had towards her, she's still my friend. -- One of my best friends.

"I'm sorry. You're totally right.. That's kinda why I wanted to meet you." He runs his fingers forth and back on the table, glancing out of the glass into the with cars crowded street.

"Oh really? Talk about whatever you want to, I'll be listening."

A simper lights up his face, his finger now drawing circles onto the wooden table. "There's something which had been bugging me for a while now."

He licks his lips, a sigh leaving them. "I used to have a crush on you since high school, you know." A smirk is plastered on his face now, the other's eyes widening. "Wha-"

"But actually it was a silly crush, and I only realized this when this one person appeared in my life."

Chanyeol stops for a moment of silence, the smirk on his face fading. "I'm not gay, I mean I really like girls. I used to like you.."

"But this person is an exception. I-I've never had such feelings towards a boy and that's what scares me. I keep hurting this person because I'm scared.." He takes a deep breath. "Pathetic, right?"
