Really just Revenge? (Wonhui)

Yoon Jeonghan

Yoon Jeonghan. The guy standing in front of him was called Yoon Jeognhan and he was the guy Mingyu slept with.

Wonwoo still couldn't believe it. Even though they had their problems Wonwoo never thought Mingyu would be able to betray him this way. Mingyu cheated on him even though he knew how important loyalty is for him. They were dating for about two years and Wonwoo got to a point where he actually imagined a future with this man. But now everything was shattered.

If he was honest, now that he thinks about their relationship once again...Mingyu was a real gentleman at the beginning but after they got together...it was like he lost interest in Wonwoo after he finally had him. Mingyu was Wonwoo's first in so many things and maybe that was thrilling for Mingyu but it became boring after some time. Wonwoo was angry at himself for not seeing the signs that their relationship was about to end. Mingyu hadn't touched him for a while. The most he got was a kiss and maybe a hug but it was obvious Mingyu became cold towards him.

And he couldn't even be angry at Jeonghan because he didn't even know Wonwoo existed. He just came over to check if Mingyu was there because after that night he couldn't stop thinking about Mingyu. Wonwoo wanted to shout at him and throw him out of his flat and just be alone and cry.

But he stays calm. He remembers Jeonghan is still standing in the doorway so he lets him inside.

"I'm really sorry I'm disturbing whatever you were doing. I didn't even know Mingyu had a flatmate. Last time I was here there were no signs of someone else. Or maybe I just didn't notice because I was a bit drunk", Jeonghan starts to talk and one thing Wonho noticed the moment he opened Jeognhan the door was that one this man was really beautiful and two he could talk a lot.

"I'm not his flatmate", Wonwoo says still calm but he can already feel the tears building in his eyes.

"I'm his boyfriend."

Silence.

It's like Jeonghan had a mute button and Wonwoo just pushed it with those words.

"Oh. My. God. I'm so sorry", Jeonghan says when he finds his voice back.

"I didn't know...I...oh my god..."

Jeognhan sinks down onto one of the kitchen chairs and buries his face in his hands. His long hair falls over his face and then Wonwoo could hear him sob.

"I'm sorry", Jeonghan says again.

"I don't even know why I'm crying. You should be crying!"

And Wonwoo really wanted to cry at that moment but he couldn't.

"I'm not angry at you", Wonwoo says after a while. Jeonghan looks up surprised as if he expected Wonwoo to shout at him.

"I'm not angry at you, okay. You didn't know I even existed and you seem to be really sorry. I'm angry at Mingyu and I'll definitely kill him as soon as he comes home but it wasn't your fault."

Jeonghan nods.

"I know this sounds wrong and I can't ask you to do it but I'd like to stay here until he comes back and help you shout at him and throw him out or something like that. Whatever you do in such a situation", Jeonghan rants on and on and Wonwoo has to stop him.

"Thank you, that'd be nice. I'd need someone to help me pack some things. I'll move to a friend because this is Mingyu's flat. And then we can shout at him together."

Wonwoo doesn't know why he did this. It felt right and as weird as it sounds he could imagine being friends with Jeognhan even though he was the guy Mingyu used to cheat on him. Jeonghan seemed like a nice guy and in a way Jeonghan has been betrayed by Mingyu too.

"I'm so sorry for you, Wonwoo", Jeonghan says again and Wonwoo just nods. That was the last words they exchanged over that topic. While they packed a few of Wonwoo's things in two suitcases they got to know each other.

Jeonghan was a part-time model who also studies art and as Wonwoo thought they really got along very well. Jeonghan was really good at talking and talking on and on but he was also amazing at listening. He listened to Wonwoo talking about the book he was writing and his job at a music shop of one of his friends.

When they finished packing they sat down in the kitchen and drank a coffee together and continued to talk. It felt nice to talk with Jeonghan and Wonwoo made the decision to not let Jeonghan go ever again because he was now his friend.

Jeonghan was just talking about a funny thing that happened with his flatmate last week when they hear the door being opened.
