For a few solid moments the two guys just stood there in silence, just looking at each other both unsure as to what made this so awkward. They'd seen each other shirtless plenty of times before, they've even full on changed in front of each other for Hades' sake. But now there was tension that neither of them could really explain, there was something different about this time. It was like they were both different people or there was something within them that had changed over the past months that they've known each other.
After several more moments someone finally spoke.
"You know, I don't think I've ever told you what a nice body you have Sparky. It's very nicely toned," Percy complimented as a cheeky smile spread onto his face.
"I know you've told me a million times before Waterboy," Jason said with a chuckle, not thinking too much of what he'd said. They were bros bro and you can't stop a bro from being a bro you know.
"Yeah but this time I actually mean it, before it was all for your confidence bro, I can't let my bro think he's some sort of like harpy or something," Percy responded with a wiggle of his eyebrows which didn't really break the tension but jut added to it in the end.
"Wait so before you were just lying to me?" Jason was now either offended or relieved, he couldn't quite tell which one it was at the moment. Gods why'd Percy always have to be like this and confuse him with his subtle ways of revealing his hidden agenda.
With a heavy sigh Percy just sat down on one of the bunks that had been put in there only to be rearranged later on once Jason started living here more often. But by the gods Percy hadn't felt this awkward in years since now he was this great hero dude so everyone got awkward around him, never the other way around but with Jason of course it would be different.
Due to the events that had gone through together they shared a bond that was along the boarder of brothers and best friends. Yet with out a doubt there was an itch that it wasn't just that, could it just be that Aphrodite was bored and making him have unnecessary feelings? That is the only reasonable explanation he had for all of this anymore.
Now over the past few years Percy had somewhat overcome his habit of doing something without thinking about it, as when fighting monsters that could lead to severe injuries or even worse, but before he knew what he was doing his lips were interlocked with Jason's. It wasn't anything like kissing Annabeth, these were like mutant butterflies that filled his stomach this time, his cheeks would turn a dark red as his hands felt around the blonde boy's waist.
To add to the spicy feelings in the air Jason didn't pull away or anything, but instead he got more into the already passion filled embrace. His arms would find their way to Percy's waist as they just stood there in the moment, letting the bromance evolve into something way more than it had been before. Now there was more actions instead of words, things seemed to be moving fast too. Soon enough he had Percy pinned underneath him on his bed, only now breaking away from the kiss to grin as he looked down at the other boy.
"My my~ you are quite attractive when you're so helpless against me~" Jason would tease Percy with a soft chuckle coming from his mouth as he held eye contact with him.
