Y/N's P.O.V

I opened my eyes, unaware of why the sleeping spot felt so soft. I blinked a few times and now I was clearly hearing some knocking. I sat up straight and looked around. The room was beautiful. It was so...So chic...

(You would've thought that Jefferson designed this room.)

After awhile of thinking, I had come to terms to the hard reality. The knocking became louder and eventually, someone just groaned. They opened the door and I looked at the person.

Much to my delight (sarcasm noted) it was George. I sighed as I turned my head away from him and put my hands on my lap. "Hello dear." He greeted me with a smile as he walked over to me. "..." I didn't answer him as he sat down next to me.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked as he realized I wasn't going to answer him. "...I did." I shrugged as he smiled, very pleased with me saying something. "That's great! ...Say, you missed diner. They informed me you went to sleep as soon as you reached your bed. I told them to let you sleep." He explained.

As I heard the word diner, my mouth began to water. I felt something in my stomach. To prevent it from making any noise, I pushed my arm against my stomach and leaned forward making it go silent. (Me in class when I haven't eaten any breakfast)

I didn't want any kind of food made by his slaves. In fact, I didn't want him to have slaves in the first place. I was in that kitchen, I saw how stressed all of them were when they had to make something for 1 person. I don't want to be served with that on my consciousness.

But if I would keep myself at that, I'd die of starvation.

"Do you want to eat something?" He asked as he put his soft hand on my now clean cheek. His baby blue eyes were hypnotizing. Whenever he made direct eye contact I felt like I would get lost in them. Then I had to slap myself and remind myself what he was willing to do to me a few hours ago.

Hang me.

"No, thank you." I blurted as I pulled my face out of his hand and turned a full 90 degrees around. I heard him chuckle. With my back towards him, he pulled my towards him and right into his arms. I was pushing his arms away when he locked them in place around me.

"You haven't eaten or drank for 6 days. You know how long humans can go without food and water?" He whispered in my eyes as I frowned and kept trying to push his arms away from me.

"7 days." He answered as I widened my eyes.

"You're on your last reigns!" He laughed as I folded my arms. "You're hungry, thirsty." He named as I folded my arms full of anger. "I can literally push you over with a tap." He said as he let go and pushed me, with little to no effort. I fell forward and huffed as I tried to push myself up again. My already noodle arms didn't do their job.

"Trust me dear, I'm not asking you for my pleasure." He sneered as he got off the bed. "You're about to collapse and never stand up again." He smiled with a dark aura hiding his oh so blue eyes.

"So I would suggest you, to do as I say." He demanded as I still was struggling to even push myself up right again. "You haven't freed the people yet, until then, I won't do as you say." I hissed as he put his finger on his chin.

"Oh no dear, I'm not letting them go until we get married." He smiled as I groaned in frustration. "I just want to leave then!" I shouted as he smiled. "The gates are wide open." He told me as he opened the bedroom door.

"Wait. Are you serious?" I asked as he nodded. I looked at him trying to find something off. But I didn't. I looked at the door. "But remember when you leave," He said as he tapped his crown with his finger and slammed the door shut with a very loud sound.

"All of you prisoner friends will be hanged." He chuckled as I hissed at him. "I HATE YOU!" I yelled as I jumped under the blankets and covered myself.

"I love you too." He chuckled as he jumped on the bed and sat next to me. I moved further away from him and hugged the blanket. "I'll see you at the breakfast table!" He sang as I grumbled. Then I realized he said morning.

Did I really fall asleep that fast and so long?

After 3 minutes of arguing if I should eat or die of dehydration, I decided to go and eat something and then quickly return to the bedroom. That was the plan.

Plan didn't work out.

As soon as I got there, there was a whole table full of food. "F*ck..." I muttered under my breath as I looked at the food, water being produced at a fast rate in my mouth. Not having eaten and drank in 6 days, I felt myself being pulled by the food.

"You came! Sit down dear~" George said from his seat. I sat down right beside him looking at the table and smelling all those different smells. Then I reminded myself that this was made by slaves and I didn't want to participate in their labor. They should be free! Not be making food and fearing their lives.

But...

I was starving. And I wanted to set everyone including me free. I couldn't do that if I died of starvation.

I reached out for a piece of bread and slowly took a bite. As soon as I gulped it down, my stomach asked for more and I ate the piece of bread whole.

3rd Person P.O.V

Now, she didn't know this at the time. But George was smirking behind his hand as she ate the bread.

You see, George knows his Greek mythology. Specifically, a very unknown story. The story of how Persephone became queen of the underworld.

On a summer day, Persephone, the Goddess of Spring , was picking flowers with her friends. Among the many flowers was one flower that was different from the rest, and Persephone's attention was soon drawn. What she did not know, however, was that Hades, the god of the Underworld, had created this flower to bring Persephone to the underworld. He was in love with Persephone, but knew that such a sweet and innocent girl would never voluntarily turn to the dark underworld. The flower was so irresistibly beautiful that Persephone could not hold herself in and stretched out to pick the flower for her mother Demeter. At that moment the earth split open under her feet. In a fraction of a second Hades came forward, and with a jerk he pulled Persephone on his span with black horses. The crack in the earth closed again, and nothing indicated that Persephone had been kidnapped there.

Demeter began to search her daughter frantically. She was intensely sad and refused to perform her duties as goddess of Fertility, and thus of Growth and Fertility. The earth withered, and for the first time it became winter.

The people could no longer harvest their grain, their storage sheds became empty and panic broke out. Zeus, the supreme god and father of Persephone, could no longer view the suffering on earth and hurried to Demeter to try to explain her responsibilities as a goddess. But the insane Demeter was not susceptible to any reason and so there was nothing else for Zeus to call his mighty brother Hades on the carpet.

Hades told Zeus that the kidnapping could not be undone. He had given Persephone a bite of a pomegranate to eat. The seeds of this pomegranate contain the power to make known the secrets of the underworld to Persephone, and simultaneously served to confirm the marriage between Hades and Persephone. It would therefore be impossible for the poor Persephone to leave the underworld for good.

That's all you need to know. (If you want the full mythology, go search it up! It's very interesting.) George, following rules of the ancient Greeks, had Y/N in his grip.

The rule goes as followed:

"If a guest, eats anything in the house of the host, this person is to stay there for a longer duration of time."

That duration would be forever.
