Y/N's P.O.V

"Well this is boring." I stated as I leaned on George's shoulder. "It's necessary. I'm the king. Balls are a usual schedule." He sighed playing with my hair.

A few weeks after I decided I would want to stay with George, a ball popped up out of nowhere. He asked me to attend it and I obliged. He would be bored here! I couldn't just leave him hanging. Even if it meant sitting in a throne for 8 hours straight...

Yeah something on the balance of life doesn't add up.

"Can we just-"

"Y/N, I need you to do me a favor." George interrupted. I cocked my head to the side. "I have to talk to the generals about...Something. It'll take me about an hour or so. Can you survive an hour alone?" He asked putting a hand on mine. I chuckled. "Of course I can. I'm tougher than you think." I smirked as he sweetly smiled.

"I'll see you then." He chuckled kissing me on the forehead. I waved goodbye and then looked at the people on the dance floor. Like usual, I decided to do a dance and then go and sit back down. So I stood up and walked to the dance floor.

A new dance was about to begin. I slowly arrived and was immediately taken by the hand. I looked at the person and smiled. We got in the position and began the dance.

George's P.O.V

I walked slowly towards the meeting room. Everything looked grayer than usual. Was this normal or was this just the mood I was in?

Anyway, when I arrived, the busy and talkative room turned silent. "Any news Howe?" I asked as I looked at general Howe. "Sire, I can assure you, the Americans are cornered. We got them good. they'll be out in no time-"

"The other thing Howe." I hissed shooting an irritated look.

"...Oh erm. Yes sire, we protected the whole castle ground. The Americans had a plan of attacking the palace in order to save prisoners and the messenger. But we can assure you, the chance they got past all of the shooters, guards and staff, is very low." Howe told me as I frowned at him.

...

It's not that I don't trust Y/N.

I just don't trust the people around her.

"How about the ball room?" I asked. "Packed with soldiers sir." He answered. "Good." I sighed and focused my eyes back up. "Now about those troops." I started.

Y/N's P.O.V

As we danced I looked at the stranger. He had made it his priority to not look me in the eyes. His curly hair hanged in front of his eyes. I couldn't even see his face!

So I decided to start a conversation. "Hey, crazy weather huh?" I asked. but he didn't give me a second glance. He kept looking at a certain spot. "So what's your name?" I asked trying to get his attention, hoping that I could at least talk to someone. Still nothing.

"...I'm pregnant." I stated as he finally looked me in the eyes. "Huh?!" He panicked. I looked him directly in his eyes.

"Jo-" I tried to yell before a freckle covered hand reached over my mouth.

"Shht." He shushed me. My eyes were wide open, my mind was asking 50 000 questions every second and my heart skipped a beat of happiness and sadness.

He was coming to get me out.

"Y/N we're busting you out." He told me in a whisper tone. He kept glancing to the side. "Plural?" I asked with panic in my eyes. "Alexander, Lafayette, Hercules and I." He clarified. "Where are they?" I asked as he looked once more to the side. This time I looked where he was looking.
