Blake's P.O.V

When I woke up I was home alone like usual while everyone was either at work or school. I seriously had to figure out something to do during this time.

I transformed into my Nekojin self and grabbed the remote to watch tv. "No. No. No. No. Ugh, No." No good channels were on. There was, however, a channel that I switched to that caught my attention.

The Cat Channel. All about cats. Blah, blah, blah, fish, blah, blah, blah. Well it was interesting for a while... I spent the next couple of hours taking another nap then I was going to make a prank call but decided against it. Hey, what if they had caller ID?

So yeah. Quite an uneventful day. I remembered that tonight Jessica was going to be gone spending the night at her friend's house and everyone else was going to the school to talk to the principal about something Jake and Lila were involved in.

I had almost forgotten Liam was staying home. Maybe we would do something fun unless he had homework to do. I sighed. A part of me wondered why I was adopted by this family. Was it to bring everyone together? Maybe just to have a house pet?

I didn't know. After seeing the time I instantly turned off the tv. They would be home any minute. So I spent the next half hour looking out the window watching for the big yellow vehicle to pass by.

Finally the four were home. I changed back into my neko self and sat at the top of the stairs. "Hey Blake." Jake said before running to me and wrapping his arms around me in a hug. As a cat... I hated hugs.

When he let go I ran under the coffee table. Jessica had went downstairs -- I'm guessing to pack -- and Liam sat on the couch to watch tv. Jake and Lila both searched through the pantry of food.

After an hour had passed Jessica came upstairs with her bags packed. Three bags... for one night... What? I blinked before yawning.

"You pack too much for one night." Liam said. Jessica just rolled her eyes. "I'm leaving when mom and dad get home." She said. Another hour passed before Mom and Dad arrived to pick up Jake and Lila. Jessica left to spend the night at her friends house and then all that was left was me, Liam, and the loud tv.

"Hey Blake." He said before picking me up. I didn't care.

Liam's P.O.V

Finally I was home alone. I watched tv with Blake sitting beside me. Eventually I got hungry so I got up and went to the kitchen to find something to eat.

What to eat? What to eat? In the fridge was nothing I was interested in but I did find vanilla ice cream so I decided on that. So I got out a bowl, a spoon, and the ice cream. I probably should have looked on the container's ingredients...

Blake's P.O.V

I watched Liam walk into the kitchen and waited for his return with food. Instead I heard a loud sound and something that sounded like broken glass. Immediately I ran into the kitchen to see Liam on the floor unconscious.

I meowed. No response. So I did again. Still nothing so I panicked a bit before talking. "Liam. Liam! Wake up!" I yelled before licking his face.

He still didn't wake up. I transformed into my Neko self and panicked on whether I should call someone. Why me!? "Liam! Wake up!" I screamed. Finally I picked up the phone and called Leanne's cell phone number.

"Hello? Liam? Is something wrong?"

"Yes! Come home quickly. Hurry!" And with that I hung up the phone. Oh gosh. I stayed by Liam for another twenty minutes to try and wake him up. Finally he moved and his eyes slowly opened. He then started coughing like crazy!

"A-are you ok? Do- Do you need anything?" I asked. Liam looked up at me. "Who are you?" He asked before trying to sit up. I had forgotten about the fact that I was a nekojin not a cat. My eyes widened. I couldn't lie to him.

"I'm... your cat. I know it's hard to believe but the cat ears and tail and bright red collar around my neck should sum up the long explanation. Anyways, I heard the loud sound of you passing out and it concerned me so I ran in here and--"

My cat ears picked up the sound of the car pulling in the driveway. "Your parents are home. Uh explain what happened. I don't really know." I said before I heard the door open. I turned into a cat right before his parents ran in the kitchen.

"Liam! Are you ok? What happened?"

Uh... I-I don't really know? I-I mean I a-ate ice cream but..." Liam suddenly grabbed the container of ice cream and looked at the ingredients. "I thought it was just vanilla ice cream but it was a special kind with coconut apparently."

"Oh, that was my fault. I just got it because it was cheaper than the other kind. I should have noticed. I am so sorry sweetie." Leanne said to Liam before hugging him. "I-It's fine. At least it's not a severe allergy. I'm just a bit shaken up... and I feel kind of sick." Liam said.

"You need to go get some rest." Jerran said. Liam nodded and slowly stood up before slowly walking to his room. Lila and Jake stood shocked. "So we can't have any ice cream?" Lila asked.

"No. We will throw it away and tomorrow we can go to the grocery store and get some without coconut for everyone to eat." Leanne said. I followed Liam to his room after that to see him laying on his bed. "Liam... are you ok?" I asked before slowly walking towards him.

"Whoa. Stay back. How-- How long have you been able to talk a-a-and turn human and--"

"I am actually a nekojin. Also I have been able to transform this way since I was experimented on. I was originally human which is why I can still talk and understand you in both forms." I yawned before jumping on his bed. "You don't mind if I sleep here do you?"

"Not at all." Liam said still slightly shocked. I curled up and fell asleep.
