The Giant Stuffed Teddy Bear

Blake's P.O.V

I was put outside. You may be wondering why... Jake. He was running through the house, knocked over a painting, and blamed it on me. I hated it outside.

Anyways, I was laying on the porch until finally Liam came out. "Are you ok?" He asked. "Fine, fine. It wasn't me you know."

"Yeah, I know."

"THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING!?"

"It was funny!" He laughed. Ugh. I sat beside him on the swing as a truck pulled up in the driveway. "It's a stranger!" I yelled. "Shh. No, it's my friend. We are going to the game store to buy that new game that's out."

"Oh! can I go!? Please!"

"Shh. He could hear you and, no, animals are not allowed." Liam said. I glared. Suddenly the horn was honked from Liam's friend. "Liam, Come on!" He yelled as I ran behind the house. 

Liam's  P.O.V

Callen, my friend, looked at me oddly. "Who's that?" he asked.I gave him a confused look before hearing a loud "HELLO!" Of course it was Blake in his human cat form. Of course he was wearing a beanie to cover his cat ears and my guess was that his tail was either stuffed in his pant leg or under his shirt. 

"Can I please go with you guys?" Blake asked excitedly. "He's my stepbrother." I muttered. Blake's eyes slightly widened. "No way. I didn't know you had a stepbrother!" Callen said in shock. 

So Blake ended up riding in my truck with me while I followed behind Callen.

I introduced the two to each other when we arrived. They got along well, real well. So well that I felt kinda like a third wheel. But past that, we got the game before Callen said he had to leave early because someone texted him. 

I shrugged it off. So it was just Blake and I. "I never said you could come."

"Right. Sorry about that. I-I just wanted to hang out with you guys." Blake mumbled. "Ok, Ok. I forgive you. Anyways, let's go get something to eat." I said as I grabbed his wrist and dragged him along.

I had forgotten that right beside the game store was a pet store. Blake wouldn't stop staring and asking for a cat toy, a cat treat, a cat bed, catnip, or even a cat tower to play inside on. People were staring and it got awkward. 

"Blake, you look like a human so act like a human. Please."

"Ok, ok. I got an idea. So when we get back to your truck I will change into a cat and we will both go in and--"

"No."

Please!"

"No. I'm hungry so we are going to the mall to eat in the food court. Come on." I said as I continued dragging him through the parking lot. 

When we got to the food court there were many variety of foods to choose from and Blake obviously chose seafood. I chose the pizza so we went our separate ways and agreed to meet at the table in the middle of the place. 

Yeah, long story. Blake didn't have any money, he stood awkwardly in line... confused, people in line got mad, and then Blake hissed at them before going over to the table we had planned to meet at. 

He was upset that he got no seafood so I had to go get him some. 

Blake's P.O.V

Liam bought me my food and I ate. "Oh. After this we have to go buy Lila a birthday present." He said.

"Wut? It's her birthday!? Why didn't I know this?"

"You tell me, oblivious cat."

I glared as he laughed. Then I hissed before finishing my food.

"What would she like?" Liam muttered. 

"Lila's like five, get her a doll that I can tear up later." Blake said as he looked around the kid's section of the store. "I'm not getting her something that you will end up destroying as a cat. And she's turning six." He added.

I sighed and looked around. "A bike?"

"No, too expensive."

"Candy?"

"Too cheap. Mom would get upset if I got Lila something that would be gone in a few seconds."

"A stuffed animal? A large stuffed animal?"

"Do you see a large stuffed animal here? No. Besides it would probably be too expensive."

"Ugh, get her some new clothes or a game or--"

"I'm getting her this." Liam held a box that had a blow-up pool inside. "Ok, how is that not more expensive than a large stuffed animal?"

"It just is." Liam said before walking to the check out line. So we got Lila's present and went home. Finally. I needed a cat nap. 

Well, we got home and entered to see Lila excited. She saw me and was confused. I forgot I was still in my Nekojin form. "Oh look at the time. See ya man." I playfully punched Liam in the arm and waved at Lila before running behind the house and transforming back into a cat.

Maybe Lila had not noticed that I was the same person that appeared in her 'dream'. When i got back inside the whole family had gathered around the table to sing a song for her birthday while I laid in the kitchen floor to take a nap.

What freaked me out was that when I woke up from a scream a saw a huge stuffed bear falling on top of me. Oh gosh! I was stuck under a ginormous stuffed bear! I meowed as Lila grabbed the bear off me. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" Lila yelled in happiness while hugging the extremely... and  mean EXTREMELY large bear! When it was held with it's feet on the floor it was taller than Liam who was 6'3 (192 cm i think ).

Speaking of Liam, he was laughing so hard after the stuffed bear had fallen on me. I hissed at him before going to take another nap under the couch where I was safe and no stuffed animal would devour me again.
