As soon as I woke up, the only thing that I saw is a monitor beside me, and the white ceiling of the room. No one's with me. "The silence is deafening." I said out of nowhere.
"Is anybody here?" I shouted, but there's no sign at all. When I looked at my right side, there's a big mirror in front of me, and I can see my reflection as a whole. I stood up, and walk slowly near it. For how long am I in a deep sleep? I lift up my hospital gown, and it made me shock that there's a lot of bruises in my body. I lost my balance which caused me to fall onto the ground. " Adeline.." I heard a family voice. A voice from that man..
"WHO ARE YOU? SHOW YOURSELF TO ME!" Please someone save me. This room is not the for me. Where the hell am I? Am I dead? Will he ever come again? My hands are trembling from the thoughts that someone will come and claim me as his property. I wrapped my body using the blanket, and cry out loud.
That voice gave me a shock. Everything that happened to me during that night is still vivid. How he molested my body, his smirk, his playful eyes, everything about him. "Can someone hear me? Save me, he's coming."
In few minutes, I heard some footsteps outside. As soon as the doctor entered the room with two nurses, he commanded them to tie my hands. "Who are you? Where am I?" I tried my best lose their grip, but they're too strong.
"AAAAAAAAAAHH!" I screamed as I looked into his eyes. "He will come to kill me. Let me go. If you don't let me go, I will die!" the doctor cannot even go near me, so I spat on to the ground. "Why? Are you afraid of me?" as an evil laugh of mine covered the whole room.
"He will come! Aren't you even concerned?" my eyes gets wider as I saw someone from his back looking at me, and pointing a knife. It's him, the man from that night.
"Doctor, there's someone behind you." I uttered. As he looked at his back "No one's behind me, Adeline."
"Uuh? I-I just saw him.. where did he go?!" the two nurses beside me are already having a hard time because I'm forcing myself to get up, and run out from this place.
"He was there! I saw him! He will kill us, especially me. Let me go." for the second time around, I beg.
"You will stay here as someone above from my position ordered to us." I wiped out my tears, and looked at him. In his nameplate it indicates his name "Doctor Suarez.. where are they? My parents, siblings, my boyfriend? I'm Adeline Moncreiff, why I see no one here? Why?"
"Adeline Moncreiff? You were addressed here as Adeline Morde." I only laughed out of disbelief, and grasp out the situation.
"Now answer me. Where am I?" I asked.
"You're in a special room wherein psychotic patients are confined." as I heard those words, I cannot believe once again that this is happening to me.
