Many people said that children ages 4-10 years old are most likely the one who needs the love and attention coming from their parents. At this stage of development, they’d rather receive intangible things so that it will serve as a lesson when they grow up. Inside the household of Moncreiff family there are two people who will inherit the wealth. The first son Sebastian Moncreiff, and the second Adeline Moncreiff. Sebastian is already 18 years old while Adeline is just merely 8 years old.
Siblings are meant to get along however inside this household the ambiance is kinda different. “Go inside the room, Adeline.” ordered by Sebastian as he saw her sister walking on the stairs holding a doll. “I don’t want..” she replied, however, he forcedly drag his sister inside the room and lock the door. “MOMMY!!!--” he immediately placed his hands on her mouth to prevent her from screaming. “Shout, and I’ll surely double the punishment this time.”
She can’t help herself, but to cry only. He’s at it again, getting a masking tape to cover her mouth, and a piece of cloth to tie her hands. Sebastian is a type person who has a mental disorder. He loves to see people suffering, and his subject will always be Adeline. He’s holding a cutter while looking at his sister’s face.”No, please. No.” she begs.
“Just one cut on your face wouldn’t be that much pain, right?” he asked while laughing. Adeline only closed her eyes as she felt the cold metal touching her face. Little by little, blood coming from her face covers her neck. “Now, let me think of what could be the next.”
He lit a cigarette and slowly scorched it to his sister’s neck and legs. Adeline can hear his laugh while he’s doing such thing again. “Sebastian, please stop now,” she called his attention, but she only received a slap from him. “WHAT DID YOU SAY?! STOP? ARE YOU COMMANDING ME?!” she only closed her eyes, but her brother already reached his limit which made him get the knife in his pocket. Adeline, slowly untie the piece on her hands. She ran to the door, shouting “HELP!!” since the room is kinda big, she’s throwing away all the flower vase to at least stop Sebastian.
Adeline picks up the cutter that he used a while ago. While he’s busy looking at the ceiling talking to himself alone, she crawls silently and bit his leg. That made him lose his balance, and so, Adeline stabs him on his stomach. He’s now screaming because of pain, but he can’t fight back. Adeline gets the knife and stabs him again without minding who’s in front of her.
Her hands were covered by blood when her parents saw her inside the room. “What have you done..” asked by her mother out of disbelief.
“I killed him.” she uttered while looking at the lifeless body of her brother.

Adeline only smiled as she recalls that incident. It seems like the blood of her own brother is still in her hands.
“Is this a payback of what I have done before?”
