I woke up to the sound of rain pounding against my window. Typicall weather for a morning in London. I dragged my tired body out of bed and stumbled to the bath room, swirving away from unpacked boxs that were stranded all over the floor of my new flat. I washed my face and brushed my teeth, and began to unpack the rest of my belongings. I never realized how many things i had until i moved from Australia to London, and ive discovered i have a lot of crap.

There arent many more box's left to unpack. Most of my household items are unpacked, now i have to unpack my music things, some are my fathers too. My dad taught me to play piano and guitar before he died. It was like my father and I had a completly different language, and that was music.

I rumaged through all my old sheet music, and some of my fathers old music he alays used to play. I gathered all of the music and placed it on the piano stand. The rest of the boxes are old tuners, and cases for my guitars. I packd those boxes back up and shoved them into the pantry.

I ate my breakfast and left the flat to go explore more of London. This place is truely amazing. Most of my friends from Australia think im crazy for leaving , but something about London makes me feel safe. The rain on my window almost every morning, and the sound of ducks in the pond outside my flat gives me a warm feeling inside. Ive never felt so at home in a place, since my parents both died. This was my fresh start, my time to begin my own life.

I fed the ducks in the pond outside the flat like i do everymorning, and i headed off to the local bakery. The shop owner is a little older then me,and we've become good friends since i moved to London. Shes someone i can connect with, she loves music and nature just like me. She reminds me of my dad somtimes, because she shares a passion for music like me and him did when he was alive.

I walked into the small shop and sat down on the stool infront of the chas register.

" Good morning Lydia!" I yelled as she appeared from the kitchen.

" Morning Lex" she said while placing a tray of freshly baked muffins into the display case." i get off in an hour, come back then and we can go to rehersal" she said while throwing me a muffin.

" Yes Ma'am!" I replied while walking out of the shop out into the pouring rain. Sunshine never lasted to long in London.

After running from the bakery,to the grocery store and back to my falt 45 minutes had passed. I tied my wet hair up into a messy bun and headed back to  the bakery. When i arrived Lydia was waiting for me and we headed to the local school to host rehersal for the highschool choir. This was one of the few music programs in our small town,so we took advantage and agreed to teach rehersals.

**** 2 hours later****

Rehersals were finally over and i headed back to my flat to pack my over night bag. I had a flight to Australia in the morning for a One Direction concert with Lydia and my friends from home. Lydia and I were nearly bursting at the seems all day with excitment, i cant even believe im meeting my idols tomorrow.

Lydia agreed to stay the night at my flat since we bother had planned to leave for the airport together in the morning anyway. We tried to settle ourselfs so we could sleep, but the excitment was overpowering. We layed in our bed for what felt like hours but we somehow managed to fall asleep.

I was woken by the strong sunlight peaking through my curtains. The clock read 9:38 am. 2 more hours until our flight, and only 14 hours until the concert. This was the best day ever.
