Shayla was laying on the hospital bed. The only part of her body that wasnt covered in a cast was her right arm and her face. There was a breathing tube that helped her breathing.Without it she wouldnt be alive. The room was silent. The silent broke when Krystina said

"Say something Shayla"

it seems as if a tear ranned down Shayla's eyes .Her mouth opened .

"I'm sorry you guys, I should no longer live"

Our eyes widen as she took the breathing tube out of her mouth .Jh'quanza ran to her

"NOOO. Call the nurse Now!. Shayla breathe"

I dashed out of the room and called for help. By the time I came back with the nurse. It was too late . Shayla was pronounced dead.

A week later

Krystina pov:

It has been A week since Shayla's death, I was getting prepared for shayla's funeral. Wow, I can't believe that the girl I knew for years died right in front of me. I wonder why would she take her own life away.She couldve still been here and we couldve worked things out.

After the funeral,  Shayla's parents , who have been shedding tears throughout the funeral walked towards me.

"This is all your fault that my little girl is dead! If your stupid unresponsible behind didnt go over there , she wouldve have still been alive! Now see what you have done! You shouldve been the one who have got ran over"

Their face boiled with hatred.

I couldn't say a word, there was a sharp pain in my stomach. then water started pouring outside of me.Oh no its time, the baby was coming.

"Ahhhhhh"

I screamed in pain, everyone looked at me and rushed me to the nearest hospital.  I thought birth was a beautiful thing but theres nothing beautiful about this right now. I kept asking the nurses and doctors where was august while I was giving birth. He arrived a couple of minutes later. At first the doctors wouldn't let him in but I screamed and hollered till they let him in. I wasnt about to give birth by my self.

Hours later, I gave birth to a handsome baby boy. I named him anthony jr after august.I watched August as he was smiling and holding jr in his arms. I can tell that August is really going to be a good parent. Legacy and Jh'Quanza walked in the hospital room. Jh'quanza took jr from august arms.

" I am the godmother right"

"of course quanza".

"Krystina . me and legacy I have some good news"
