Quanza pov:

----------------------------------------- legacy and I don't talk as much as we used to .I fell as if our love is slowly fading away. I don't know what to do. But a couple of months ago I met a guy name Jaden.Last name Smith. He has been very helpful with my problems with legacy. I grew more attracted to him every second that I talk to him but I don't want to ruin a marriage so right now im just going to keep it cool.I told legacy about jaden. Since legacy is not home , like usual, I made plans with Jaden. We are going to the movies.  This is not a date. its just two friends hanging out. I was wearing a short black dress that showed all my curves.My hair was curled and I didnt feel like wearing heels so I wore my black vans. its not like we was going anywhere special.The doorbell rings. I skipped downstairs to open it .

"Damn ma"

"what"

"you look beautiful"

I felt my face getting hot. I couldn't believe I was blushing.

"Thank you"

We made our way to the car. He opened my door for me to get in like a gentleman , something that legacy would never dare to do. Before he started the car, he stared at me.

"Why are you staring at me? Do i have something on my face"

"no. its perfect"

He started the car and we drove off. When we reached the movie theatre, he ordered me a large popcorn, large coke and some skittles. we sat in a seat and the movie began to play. He agreed to see a chick flick with me, most guys wouldn't do that. You know how theres always a couple making out in the movie theatre. Well, in the middle of the movie, these couples was making out so loud that I couldnt barely hear the movie. I was getting angry, jaden knoticed so he rubbed on my arms .I didnt want to make a big scene, I decided to cool my self down before i snap. The kissing still continued and I missed about half of the movie.My anger build more inside of me. I finally turned around to see who it was. I knoticed it was Legacy and some other chick who was making out. Oh hell no, I was not going to just sit there and let him cheat on me.I told jaden what was going on , he tried to calm me down but it was too late for that. My leg and hand  was shaking , I wasn't just mad , I was pissed. I Got up and walked where he was. His eyes caught on mines.

"Jh'Quanza , this is not what it looks like"

" you lying cheating bastard"

I poured my coke and popcorn on him ,  threw my wedding ring at him, and stormed off. Jaden ran after me.

"Jh'Quanza wait"

I stopped and he ran closer to me.I didnt even realize that i was crying until he wiped my tears off my face. He gave me a hug.

"Its okay Jh'Quanza, he don't deserve someone like you."

The ride back home was quiet.

"Thank you for the ride home jaden"

" Anything for you"

I gave him a smile and walked inside the house. Legacy wasn't home, so that was great. I didn't want to deal with him tonight. I changed to my sleeping wear (which is boxers and a tanktop) and layed on the bed. Unfortunately, I couldn't fall asleep, I had too much on my mind. I heard when legacy came home. I pretended to sleep. I felt him touching me and on top of me. I opened my eyes and yes he was on top of me.

" Get off of me Legacy"

"no"

I tried pushing him off of me but he was too strong.

"Get off of me now! im not playing with you"

He kissed me and I quickly pulled away.

He tried taking off my clothes but I put them right back on

" Stop legacy I'm serious"

"Bish you know that you want this"

He continued trying to take it off of me

" No "

I slapped him and I finally got him off of me

"Wtf is wrong with you"

" the question is wtf is wrong with you, you think that you can cheat and ill just be fine with that? "

"uh. yeah"

" well your wrong. im done with you"

" no your not. You're just mad that I kissed another girl that wasnt you but you'll always crawl back to me"

"you know what fuck you and this marriage, im moving out"

"And where do you think you're gonna go? You have nobody but krystina and she lives with August, without me , you wouldn't survive"

" wanna bet, and I dont need you, I have jaden"

I began to walk away.

He grabbed my arm tight.

"what the freak did you just say"

" I have jaden"

He grabbed me by the neck and started chocking me, I couldn't breath.

"Stop"

I began to kick . He finally stopped and I fell on the floor. His fist came flying at my body.

"Dont you ever say that name again you hear me , If you leave me, I will kill, you , jr and jaden. Try if you want to"

He punched me and walked out the door.

He had never hit me until now, I was scared to death and I didnt know what to do. If I leave, I was scared that he would come kill jaden and jr. I had to protect jr. I didnt marry an abusive man, he started drinking and I question myself who did my so called husband become.
