krystina POV:

I knew that sneaking Jh'Quanza out of the house would put everybody in danger but at that time I didn't care. Jh'quanza is like a sister to me and I would do anything to keep her safe.

We knew that legacy would look for her at my house so we brought her to August's cabin in the woods. She would stay there to hide.

5 days later Legacy came knocking at my door questioning about jh'quanza's disappearance. He constantly asked me where she was and he told me that he is trying to fix everything that was going on between them. "I Love Her" he repeated. From the tone of his voice I knew that if I revealed her location , she would get hurt even worse so I told him that I didn't know where she went. He grew mad and balled up his fist. I slowly walked back. His hands were around my neck. It became a struggle for me to breathe.

"If you don't tell me where she is hiding! I will kill you and your family!"

I heard August's car door slammed shut.

"I'll be back tomorrow"

he stormed out of the back door and i fell on the floor . August opened the front door.

"What's wrong Krystina" he sat on the floor and wrapped his arms around me

"Aug. I think we need to move"

"why?" his face suddenly got serious.

"Legacy was here! He threatened to kill us"

"What? when was he here?"

"just now, he left when he heard your car door closed. He's coming back tomorrow . Aug I'm scared . I don't want the baby to get hurt "

"nothing will happen. First we need to bring Jr . to my ma and then call the police"

He grabbed the phone and dialed 911.

"9-1-1 what's your emergency?"

"Somebody is after us and trying to kill us"

"Do you know the person and is he after you at this moment"

"no he threatened to kill my girl . He's planning to come and kill me and my family"

"what is your location sir?"

august gave the lady our address

"okay sir we will have an officer at your house"

It wasn't long for the police to arrive. They spent two hours trying to write and understand what had happened.When we told him that the person who tried to kill us was legacy, they wasn't surprise. turns out this wasn't the first time that legacy was in trouble with the law.Before he met jh'quanza, he had a wife who he abused really bad. The police had been looking for him for 9 years. We made a plan on how we are going to catch him.

The next day.................

August went to his ma house to drop off jr.

There was a knock at the door. As soon as I opened the door , I felt my body slamming against the wall.

" I told you I was coming back"

"Legacy! Stop!"

"Dont worry I'm not gonna kill you yet"

He grabbed me by the hair and pressed his lips on mines. He forcefully pushed me on the ground and got on top of me. He began to feel on me.

"Stop! Help!"

I began kicking . He grabbed a gun from his back pocket and aimed it towards my face. A tear rolled down my cheek.

"Do as I say or else I will shoot you "
