Jaedens POV*

Wyatt had kissed me. We had kissed.

Holy Jesus. We had kissed.

"Wyatt?" I ask quietly after we pulled apart from the kiss. "Yeah jae?" He whispers back

"Do you like me?" I ask even quieter. "I-" he starts. But I spot something in his pocket. "Gummy worms?" I question, interrupting him.

He pushes it back into his pocket "I-I um, yeah, I found them, they're old. And nasty" he stutters out. I laugh at him. "Breakfast?" He nods, his face red from stuttering.

We walk to the breakfast cabin and get inside. It's hot and stuffy outside so it feels nice inside. We walk over to the table we usually sit at and sit down. Jack, Sadie, Jeremy and Finn are all sitting down when we get there.

"Where's Chosen?" Wyatt asks. Everyone shrugs. "So are you guys dating?!" Jack asks excited.

I look at Wyatt and we mirror the same expression. Confused. "Nah, it was just a kiss guys" He says. I furrow my brows. What does he mean by "just a kiss"

We finish eating and all decide to go canoeing together. (Well, finn, jack, Wyatt, Sadie and I.)

"Guys, Are we all going to seriously cram into one canoe" I ask. They nod. "Oh Jaeden, the canoes here are huge" jack says, being dramatic.

And jack was right. At least partially. The canoes were big. Not huge. But big enough for them to sit in the canoe and not all be touching.

Of course jack sat next to finn, and I sat next to Wyatt, Sadie sitting next to me.

We made immature jokes and splashed each other and almost knocked the canoe over about a hundred times before we finally calmed down.

"Im hungry" jack announces. By now it had been about an hour. "Jack. We just ate" finn replies laughing. We all laugh along. Soon it gets quiet.

"Jack. Why won't you Be my boyfriend?" Finn whispers quietly. But not quit enough, for we all heard.

"Hey wy?" I whisper, trying to start a conversation so everyone's not paying all of the attention to finn and jack.

"Yeah?" He says back. "I think I'm hungry too, can we head back?" He Chuckles. "You act like I'm the leader" he kisses my forehead. "W-Wyatt?" I stutter out. "Hmm?" He replies.

"I- what are we?" My face goes red. "We're best friends" he smirks. I move my head to where he can't see my reaction and furrow my brows. Does he really mean that? At all?

"Finn you played with my fucking feelings. Just because you decide randomly that you like me doesn't mean that I'm ready to forget that you hurt me and shit. Just. Drop. It" jack burst out. "Let's go back" nobody declines and we head back.

"Don't be so gloomy guys, tomorrow will be better" Sadie says once we're back.

(Time skip cause I'm trash)

Wyatt's POV
It's 6:37 in the afternoon. Earlier. Jaeden had asked me what we were. Me being me, I told him we were best friend. I wanted to be more. Why didn't I tell him that. I shake my head and start crying. Jaeden had gone to do kitchen duty, that was appointed to him randomly.

Each month the camp randomly draws 2 kids to clean the kitchen together, along with a 2 camp counselors.

I pulled out the bag of gummy's and stared at them. How stupid was I going to be? I took one out and bit it. At least I admit I'm stupid, I think. I keep eating them until my head feels fuzzy.

I lay back on the bed and breathe out. I kept having to remind myself to breathe, somehow I kept forgetting.

Sooner or later I knew Jaeden would come back and I also knew that he wouldn't be very happy if he found out I was chewing pot gummy's.

I laugh. The only person who's ever made me feel like this and I was going to go behind his back and do drugs. Good job, I'm sure that will pay off very well.

I get under the covers, not bothering to take off my jeans and sweatshirt.

And fall asleep.

"Wyatt, wake up" jaedens nudging me. "What is it Jae?" I mumble. "You're taking up the whole bed. And why are you asleep so early?" He questions. "I'm sorry" I answer, sitting up.

I stare into his perfect blue eyes. He looks so innocent and sweet. He half smiles and me and thanks me. I softly kiss him on the lips and scoot over. So he can climb in. "Wyatt. No. Don't do that" he shakes his head. "Don't do what?" I ask innocently.

"Kiss me" He says quietly. "Do you not like me?" I ask frowning. "Nono I do. I just- I don't know. Do you like me?" He bites his lip. I smile. "More than you know."

He smile and gets in.

I get up and take change into  bed clothes and come back, pulling him in to cuddle.

" you know I sleep better because of you? Before I woke up from nightmares and stuff" I whisper. He's snoring. When I'm absolutely sure he's asleep I whisper, "you're the only person that makes me feel safe" I grab his hand and fall asleep.

Part of me knew he wasn't asleep though.

Part of me wanted to tell him all about my life.

But oh boy would he run when he found out.
