Chapter 3

School had finally let out. Thank God!

But instead of taking the bus home, they have all decided to walk together. Tony was chatting it up and flirting with Dominik, getting close. Dominik seemed to like Toby back... so why didn't they date?

"Anyone got a smoke? I didn't have one all day." Alex basically complained. Brenda sighed and pulled a pack of camel menthols out of her purse, throwing Alex one and giving him a lighter.

Jeane didn't smoke and neither did Rosa. Tony didn't smoke either. But Brenda, Alex, Dominik, they all had lit cigarettes. Jeane looked over at Rosa and quickly looked at the ground blushing. "Jeane?" Rosa asked. Jeane looked at Rosa. "Yeah?"

"You should throw me a text and maybe you and me can hang out sometime." Rosa said.

Jeane's cheek flared a light pink. "I'd like that." Jeane said grinning. Rosa noticed Jeane grab her hand while they continued walking. Rosa's mind went to a haze, but Tony interrupted right away.

"Brenda, can I like.. borrow a pink shirt?" Tony asked, doing his fabulous hand gesture. Rosa, Jeane, and everyone giggled, whist Tony winked and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Since when would I own a PINK shirt?!" Brenda asked and laughed. "Well I own many." Tony said. "Only you." Alex exclaimed and laughed. Dominik kissed Tony's cheek. Awhhh. Jeane was still holding Rosa's hand. Brenda turned around to look at Jeane, and winked.

"Let's all hang out at my place." Alex suggested. "Alex. Don't even think about doing-" Brenda was cut off when Alex sshed her. "Do..what?" Rosa asked.

"He has a small... drug issue..." Brenda turned around and whispered.

"Oh..."  Rosa muttered.

***TimeSkip/At Alex's House***

"Tony come on! Quit looking at my dick!" Dominik jokingly yelled while laughing. Brenda, Rosa, and Jeane burst out laughing. Tony wiggled his eyebrows and laid down on Dominik's lap. "Hey Tony!" Tony looked at Alex. "Do you think Rosa's beautiful?" Rosa felt all eyes on her.

"Rosa's pretty, but Dominik is all mine." Tony singsonged, emphasizing the word mine. "I think Rosa's beautiful." Jeane said, and smiled at Rosa. "Awee." Rosa said and blushed. "Be right back." Alex said, running up the stairs. "I already don't like where this is going.." Brenda muttered. What the hell is Alex doing?!

Sure enough, Alex came back down the stairs. Brenda, Rosa, Jeane, Tony, and Dominik look over at Alex, who is smiling. "Creeper." Jeane joked. Alex had his hands behind his back, obviously hiding something.

He pulled out his hands and set it down on the table. This is not good.

"Alex! No!" Tony says, firmly and extremely demanding. "Why not?" Alex says, obliviously. Rosa began to eyeball up what was in the bag. There was 2 actually. One being filled with cocaine and one being filled with crack. "Please?" Alex was now begging.

Jeane caved in.. unfortunately. She picked up the crack pipe and put a pinch full of crack in the bowl part. She grabbed the lighter off the table and lit it, which emit a crackling sound and let off a nasty smell.

"Oh God! It smells like a pen was lit on fire!" Rosa yelled. Jeane shrugged. "It's actually not that bad. Maybe you should try some." Rosa looked at her with a shocked face and blocked her nose. Tony and Dominik already left the room.

"Jeane...." Rosa said, feeling like absolute shit. "What?" Jeane said, just as delusional as Alex was when it came to drugs. "Screw this." Rosa said, plucked the crack pipe from Jeane's hand and threw it hard against the wall. "What the hell?!?!" Alex yelled.

"Oh well excuse me for actually caring about people I love!" Rosa spoke up. Rosa glared over at Jeane, who was sitting quietly and awkwardly. "Oh.." Jeane whispered.

"You know Rosa.. that's actually kind of true." Alex said.

Rosa sighed, took the drugs and without thinking, threw them all in the lit fireplace. Oh god is the smell unbearable. That's when Tony, Brenda, and Dominik came back into the room. "Oh god it smells like a burnt babies' asshole was covered in pen and lit on fire on a hot summer day in Arizona!" Tony commented and quickly covered his nose. "Only you Tony." Brenda says, laughs, and shifts her gaze to Rosa and Alex.

"I'm sorry to say, but we need to take Alex to NA or a rehabilitation center as soon as we get the chance." Rosa blurts out. "I totally agree. He would never listen to us when we tried to. He would always bone us on his shitty promises to stop." Tony says. How very blunt. Rosa thought.

"If you can quit starting tomorrow, you won't have to go." Brenda says, making a deal. "Fair.." Alex says. "Guys can I just crash here tonight?" Rosa asks, getting off topic. Alex nodded. "Yeah sure that's not a problem."  Brenda smiled. "You can just borrow Jeane's clothes, it's no problem." Brenda said. "Also you can walk to school with us." Jeane said.

Rosa's mom and dad probably wouldn't care. "That's even if we go to school tomorrow." Dominik said. "Yeah. We should all just ditch it." Alex said. "You know, I'm very much okay with that." Jeane said and smiled at Rosa. "I totally wouldn't mind spending some time away."  Jeane winked.

"Okay it's on. Tomorrow is Ditch Day." Brenda said. "Yes!!" Tony exclaimed and squeezed Dominik's hand, resulting in him squeezing back.

Rosa could never believe it. She had actually managed to make friends. YAS!!! Rosa yelled......But only in her brain.
