Chapter 12

When her mom arrived home, the first thing she did was go to Mary's room like always.

"Hey, Mary. I heard there was an officer at your door today and that it was about Justin are you okay?" Her mom asked with a kind tone in her voice.

"Yeah, I'm okay it was just that he committed suicide and that he really isn't Justin, his real name is Noah Davis. Nothing I'm not so much surprised at." Mary replied casually.

"Well okay, just wanted to make sure you are okay." Mary's mom said with a small smile on her face while she shut the door behind her.

It is the 17th and her parents had gone for their business trip. Mary had started to pack her bags and shortly, she went to the train station.

When she arrived on the train, she sat on the seat she was assigned. The assigned seat she got was #42. She felt something on the seat, it was a USB flash drive. The USB was covered with a white rubber bracelet.

She immediately zipped up one of her bags and took out her laptop. Mary injected as soon as she got the flash drive into her laptop and she found a word document as usual. The document read,

"Mary, meet us at the hotel we met at when you visited LA. We already booked you a room. ~Jane and Mack"

The hotel, Mary thought. It was only two blocks away from the train station.

She quickly got her packed bags and ran to the hotel.

Mary got to the hotel and she got her room which was the exact same one they went to the first time. She unpacked her bags and she went to the bathroom.

In the bathroom, she walked over to the sink and she found a note taped to it on a post-it note.

"Mary, meet us at the nearest playground around at 3 am today. Come alone." The post-it read.
