A Good Boy in Disguise

New Girl

I look down and there it was. My shirt was now soaked, all I could think about was how. How could this happen to me. I actually knew how, he did this to me. My head was starting to go foggy and my hand was covered in blood. His green eyes never left mine, until everything went black.

Caterina POV

"Caterina wake up! You're gonna be late!"

I turned over and looked at my alarm clock. 6:25 am, I had 35 minutes to get ready for class. I just moved to Manchester from Phoenix. I came here to start a fresh life and get away from my past.

"Shit shit shit shit" I said to myself as i grabbed a t-shirt and some black leggings. I ran into the bathroom to get ready. I put on the minimal amount of makeup as possible so I at least looked awake. I threw on some black Nikes and grabbed my raincoat. I was now running down the stairs, I looked at my phone and checked the time. 6:50 am, I had enough time to grab a granola bar and my headphones.

"Caterina you have to start setting your alarm "

"Cedia, I know,I swear I'll be up tomorrow on time"

I grabbed my bag and started heading for the door.

"Cat! Cat!"

"What?!"

"Aren't you forgetting these?" My roommate held out my keys for me. Her brown curls always looked great, her olive skin was clear of blemishes and she had a great body. She was about the same height as me. She was hispanic, she said her parents met here and never wanted to leave.

"Thank you!!" I kissed her cheek and head to my car. I drove an old VW, it was okay for a first car. It got me where I needed to go. Once i graduated I was gonna buy a new one. I started the car up and of course, I spoke too soon. It wouldn't start. I tried over and over.

"If you keep doing that you'll flood the engine."

I looked over to who was talking to me. It was my neighbor.

"Thanks but if I don't get it started I'll be late for school"

"You go to school in the city?"

"Yeah"

"Come catch a ride with me, my names Cole."

"Thanks." I headed over to Coles car, he drove an Audi. Way nicer than my car and probably good chances of not breaking down. We got into the car and started heading down the road. He had the local radio station playing low. He asked me a few questions like where I lived before and why I moved. I asked him some questions about school and the city. After playing 20 questions I found out we have Writers 101 together and he likes cars. A lot.

We pulled into the school and I saw a parking spot in the front.

"Park there hurry!"

He started to pull into the spot as another guy did. He pulled all the way in and I heard him whisper.

"Shit."

"What? We got the spot. You should thank me for having such great vision." I smirked as I was grabbing my bag.

"I'll meet you there."

"what direction is the building?"

After some vague directions I started heading to class. I noticed the guy who wanted our spot was now parked behind Cole's car. It was a slick, black range rover. I stopped to see what he was doing. He got out of the car and started walking to Cole. He was a taller guy, curly hair, all black clothes with black shoes. Wow I wonder what his favorite color is. He was really cute, in a dark, mysterious way. I couldn't make out what him and Cole were saying but Cole looked back at me. The boy looked at me and we locked eyes. We looked at each other for what seemed like forever. He nodded and got back into his car. Cole looked like he had just let out a big breathe. I was curious but I was also going to be late for class.
