I'm feeling bored, so here's another chapter. I'll still publish a new one thursday, as usual.

2nd day of Emboar, 0 AJ (After Judgement)

Birds were singing a soothing song as Dawn awoke. Hearth was still sleeping. Light drifted through the tent's door. Dawn shook Hearth awake and she got dressed. She put on her cloak and Hearth did as well. They equipped their weapons and exited the tent. Men were running left and right, rushing to get prepared. Hearth and Dawn walked over to Smoke, who was talking to a Clone Trooper. The Clone spotted them and gave them a quick salute. Smoke looked over and invited them to his conversation.

"As I was saying sir, Me and my Commando squad are ready to follow close behind you."

"What are Commandos again, Commander?"

"Commandos are well trained Special Ops troops. We have been trained in assassination, infiltration, sabotage, hand-to-hand combat, teamwork, field healing, repair, advanced tactics, advanced piloting and Mystic was taught how to use rudimentary magic, like minor healing spells. An elf named Ayra taught him."

"Good. Do you just lead your four man Commando squad, Commander, or also a division of Clone Troopers?"

"I do lead a division of Clones, the Midnight Brigade, but I usually let Captain Shadow assume command. I typically am ahead of our front line, taking out a high priority target with Black Squad, the nickname the brigade's given us."

"Good to know. I'm going to have you call in your entire brigade and I want you to stay with Midnight Brigade for this fight."

"General, sir. Midnight Brigade has already been deployed. We were part of the assault against the Sith."

"Good to know. Where are they?"

"Right here." The Commander stopped in front of a massive Clone force. Their armor all bore back stripes that went down the middle of their bodies. Their shoulder pads were pure back and many Clones had extra tactical gear and wore the gear proudly. There were some Clones whose armor looked more advanced than the average Clone. These advanced Clones drilled the others and were quick to salute their superiors. Three Clones in rounder and sleeker armor walked up to the Clone Commander. They all had backpacks and their armor had different styles of accents all painted in black. One had the same ears painted onto his armor like Rex, a different one had a black handprint on his helmet, and the last one had a small star painted on the back of his hand.

The one with the ears said, "Good to see you again Scope. Me and the boys are ready for yet another seek and destroy."

Commander Scope looked his men over. "Change of plans. Jaig, grab a Z-6 and merge with our front lines. Skull, grab a DC-15A or dual DC-17s. Mystic, I want you to have a DC-15. Understood?"

"Sir, yes, sir!" Mystic, the Clone with the star, handed the Clone with the ears his blaster cannon and Jaig gave Mystic his rifle. Skull slung his rifle over his shoulder and let it rest via a rope. He pulled out twin pistols and the Clones rushed to the front lines.

Hearth took a quick glance at the Clone Brigade. They all reminded him of Guardians. Also ODSTs and Spartans. The Guardians finally gathered and Hearth quickly thought of mixing the two forces. "Commander, Do you think that we can join forces with your brigade?"

Commander Scope looked at Hearth. "Mix the two armies together? How?"

"We have plenty more archers than swordsmen. The swordsmen we have will form a sort of phalanx in the front with your heavy gunners mixed in. Our archers will be mixed into your troops equipped with rifles. The more skilled the archer, the further back they will be. We will have the advantage of advanced weaponry and well thought-out tactics."
