Forever & Always Never
I never do anything right.
Always a mistake.
Always that one thing I forgot to do.
Always something done wrong.
One slip up and I'm toast.
One slip up and I'm a goner.
Forever wrong.
Forever a mistake.
Forever I shall wish to be good enough.
I never will be.
But why can I not have false hope?
It's better than none.
It's better than walking without a purpose.
When I trip will I be able to get back up?
Will you hold out your hand?
Forever & Always I hope so.
Never will it happen?
We'll see.
