I dreamt about it again... the day I saw Avin, even though its been 5 years since the accident i just cant help but think about him.

I sigh as I get out of bed it's the first day of school.Which to be honest I'm excited about seeing my friend not so much about the school work.

I get into the bathroom and have a look at myself I have a dark chocolate complexion and braids in my hair. I'd consider myself an average looking girl I dont get hit on alot by guys but I dont get shunned by them either.

I take a shower and put on my clothes of choice. A hoodie and a pair of Adidas sweats. I grab my car keys and head out the door.

"Here we go..." I say to myself "another year without him"

I get to school and on my way to my locker I pick up my schedule for this year APP English 2,P.E., world history Algebra 2 ,Biology and Spanish 2.

I see my friends standing in front of my locker Joshua and Melissa.

"Hey!!!" I said as i saw them my moods getting a little better.I pulled them both in for a hug but there was something off about them today.

"Um Shell...."Joshua said

"What whats wrong do i have tooth paste on my face again that happens alot"

"Um no.... Did you hear about the new student ?"

"No is she cute or something"I said "because you know Maria wont stand for that"

"No way!" Josh said holding onto Marias shoulder "You're the only girl I need in my life, Right baby?"

Josh started leaning in for a kiss but was met with Marias hand"Uhh yeah sure whatever"Maria said. "Anyway the new kid isnt a girl"

"A boy?What is he cute or something because im tired of you trying to pair me up with guys.Im not intrested in dating right now."

"Mhmm okay wait til you see those dazziling green eyes if it wasnt for Joshy boy over here I might've pounced on him."Josh had started to frown at the statement Maria had made."Joshy you know I was just kidding your the only man for me"

"Yeah sure whatever"Josh said mimicking Maria as he walked away.

"Come on Bae I was just playing id only pounce you" she said as she ran after him while waving good bye.

Just like clockwork the Bell had rang.

Before I went to class took at trip to the bathroom.I took longer then expected because there actually was tooth paste on my face and it took some elbow grease to get it off.I realized i had only 1 minute to get to class when the warning bell had rung. I had to run to class if i wanted to make it on time.

As I was about to make a homerun into the classroom with seconds to spare I crashed into something hard and fell back.

While I was on the floor trying to get myself togther I grabbed my phone i only had about 10 more seconds left.

"SORRY!!"I yelled to whatever i bumped into and booked it to class.

I made it to class as the bell rang.

"Miss Waters you made it just in time" Mr.Gates said as i tried to grin over my heavy breathing.

Behind me the door started opening and a boy came in looking kind of disoriented.

"But you my friend did not" Mr.Gates added on as he grabbed his roll call sheet "Whats your name son"

"Avin"he said I quickly turned around to look at the boy "Avin Wright".

My mouth dropped he looked just like him his blonde hair, green eyes and crooked smile. "A-Avin is that really you"I said trying hold back tears.

The boy looked at me confused "I think you've got the wrong guy I just moved here from Alabama" he said as went to his seat .

I stood there for about a minute with a shocked stare on my face Until Mr Gates told me to sit down in my seat.

Luckily he seated us on a last name basis so Avin and I sat right next to eachother.

Throughout the whole period i kept trying to get his attention but  he ignored me until the bell rang.
