Just as I was about to have a mental breakdown/ mini heart attack. Avins mom, Kelsy came in.
"Linda oh my goodness is that little Shelly? Shes so pretty , bet the boys at school are all over her she gets it from her mother!"

"Well if thats the case..."
I felt my mothers hand  pinching my thigh."Haha Thank You! My mother is a talented, smart , and selfless woman so I'll take that complement to heart."
A couple years after Avins disappearance My dad , whos in the Air Force ended up MIA. No one has heard from him since and my mom has had to toughen up because of it.I admire her but someone times she gets out of hand.
"Anyways what brings you guys here?"I added, while rubbing my thigh.

"I just came to stop by but we got to talking about the past and we need alot of catching up and we both need to blow off a little steam.So were going to the karaoke bar downtown.Do you guys want to come?" Kelsey asked.

"Nahh, I'm good I kinda got into the show that we were watching in the livingroom I want to finish it."Avin chimed in out of no where.

"Errr I have assignment to do very VERY important assignments" I said trying to be low key as possible while eyeing Avin.
I turned to my Mom, she gave me that girl your high key asf look.

"Okay sweetie" my mom said holding onto my shoulder tightly "Be good alright"

"Alright dang" I said as I tried to weasle out of her steel grip.

"Okay then we're heading out. The foods in the toaster oven" My mom added as the door closed.

It just me and Avin. Avin and me ... Avin and I??? Whatever girl gain focus your prey is right in front of you waiting to be-

"I'm gonna go watch the Tv show okay?" and with that he was off into the living room.
I took the opportunity to go to my room and change into more comfortable clothes. Basketball shorts because im about that #HOOPLIFE. Not really though but I used to play Ball or atleast attempted with Avin when we were litle.

Bonus is that they were our elementary schools shorts.The only reason i can still fit them is because I hit my growth spurt in the 4th grade.I was the tallest kid in the 5th grade and I only grew about  2 inches since then from 5"2 to 5"4

Im also wearing my shirt from the LA Zoo. To spark some mischievous memories of our younger days.

I head down stairs to were Avin is sitting down on my coach watching my Mythbusters recording.Typical.

"You would watch this Avin."I said sarcastically.

"Yeah sorry about earlier today. My mom filled me in on her way here. She wouldnt stop talking about you guys."

"Its alright "I smiled at him.Thank god part one of Get My Boy Avin Back had already been accomplished.
"I used to watch Mythbusters? Man was I a cool kid" He said with a hearty chuckle and light blush spread across his face. Was he always this cute? Wait what?

"You were. Except that one time when you tried to reanact the earwax candle experiment and you ran out of ear wax volunteers so you went to Ms.Millers house down the street and tried to get some from her dog and almost stabbed his brain with the Q-tip .  You know beacause of that he's deaf in one ear? "

He started chuckling again. It was Nice, Rich, and Contagious.It was always like that.

"Hey, why are you laughing because of you I got grounded for a whole week. Then my mom made me help her out with her gardening. I mean what the hell do I look like Jem from To Kill a Mocking Bird."

He chuckle turned into a loud laugh. I joined in.

"She had me work in slave heat and do you know what your punishment was... Nothing , I mean your mom tried to punish you for atleast a day. She was such a softie for you, you jerk "
I slapped him on his shoulder.

"But even though your mom didn't punish you, you snuck in to my room everyday to see me. And when 'Ms.Dubose' had me work out in her  cott- ,I mean, garden you were right next to me."

The commericals were the only noise in the room at this point.I felt my eyes begin to water.

"Ya' know i missed you. I had these on recording because when I watch them they remind me of you. You just left all of a sudden.One day you were here the next day you were gone." Oh god my voice is starting to crack. "I-i felt so guilty if I had just-" By this time tears were rolling down my face. I turned away from him trying to hide them.

"I-i have to go" I said but before I stood up fully i was yanked back down on the couch.Since when was he this strong?

"Look at me" I turned toward him and stared into his  serious green eyes and his furrowed eyebrows."I know I can't really remember much from my childhood but we were just kids. We all make mistakes. Even though I left abruptly,I'm here now. Lets make this friend ship work again, Alright?" Avin gave me that signature Avin smile.

Which before wouldnt have this much of an effect on me but why was my heart beating this fast? Why did i feel like my body was about to melt into a pile of goo? Why are my palms getting sweaty and my ears turning red?
Why?Why?Why?

Oh God.

Sorry for not updating!! The struggle semesters hit me hard. So i just had to foucus on me and my grades. But its all good now!Ill be updating alot more frequently.
