They gang of rebellious teenagers sat at one table together as detention was about to come to an end in 15 minutes.

"Who knew detention could be so great?" Michael asked as he put his arm around Kaylin's shoulder. She accepted his arm and leaned onto his chest.

"Out of all the detentions I chose to go to, I think that this was the best one." Luke said, looking at Grace and intertwining their hands together. Grace smiled at the gesture and looked down at her lap.

"I bet you Mr. Weston had no idea what went on in this room." Ashton admitted.

"Don't you think detention's like a desert island? You know, we were all placed here with nothing but the clothes on our back and have to figure out a way to survive the boredom of sitting in a classroom for seven hours." Calum admitted and everyone lightly chuckled at that idea.

"It's a crazy theory, but it makes some sort of sense." Kaylin admitted.

"I thought I hated you all at first, but I don't mind you guys anymore." Luke said with a smile. All six of them heard someone open the door and turned to see it was Mr. Weston.

"Okay, get lost detention's over." He said gloomily and placed the basket of cell phones on the table. After he did so, he left the classroom. All of the kids got up, grabbed their stuff and headed out of the front of the school together. The boys bro hugged each other as they have their goodbyes.

"Remember Michael, get my weed." Luke said to Michael in a somewhat jokingly way.

"You got it." Michael said.

"Sorry for acting like a dick to you." Luke said to Ashton.

"It's fine, we're all good now." Ashton said with a smile and Luke grinned back.

"It was nice meeting you Asian." Luke said to Calum, which caused them both to grin.

"You too Asshole." Calum replied.

"It was good getting to know you Michael." Ashton said, with Calum there to say the same.

"Don't forget about our double date tonight?" Ashton reminded Calum.

"I won't." Calum promised.

Luke walked over to Grace and took both her hands into his.

"So, is this where it ends?" Grace asked sadly. She looked down so she would show her disappointed face. She was hoping to keep this thing going between them, whatever it was.

"What?" Luke asked. "Definitely not." He lifted her chin and looked into her brown eyes. He played with his lip ring when he was anxious, which he was.

"I know I said whatever happened in that room, stays in that room, but I wanna try this dating thing and I want to do it with you." Luke said. Grace smiled and leaped onto Luke and they kissed in the middle of the hallway.

"Aren't they dramatic?" Michael said, which made Kaylin laughed. They watched the whole scene between Luke and Grace play out.

"I think it's cute." Kaylin said, turning to face Michael. They just kind of stood there, staring into each other's eyes.

"I feel that, um," Michael tried to say as confidently as he could, "we should go out."

"That sounds fantastic." Kaylin said.

"Okay, how about tonight? There's a concert I had an extra ticket for and I had no one to use it, so, ya know, I thought I'd ask?" Michael suggested.

"Yes, I want to go with you to that concert." Kaylin said. She kissed Michael on the cheek and ruffled his hair like she did earlier.

"Hey!" Michael laughed and poked her shoulder. They both laughed as Michael wrapped his arm around her and Kaylin simultaneously snuggled into his chest.

"Kaylin! I'm going to text you later!" Grace yelled from where she was standing, proceeding to yell her number for across the hall.

The six of them walked out of the school, leaving their struggles, worries, judgment, and bad attitudes behind. As they went their separate ways, they knew that they would probably never forget they all had to have Saturday detention together.
