Somehow, after a short walk from the school, we ended up at the steps right in front of the Ice Cream Parlour. I was still blushing slightly from the hold that he had on my fore-arm but just as quickly as he had grabbed onto it, he let go and pulled the door open.
"For the lady," he smiled, stepping aside for me to walk in. I pushed a strand of my hair out of my face before stepping forward, only for him to push in front of me and walk in.
"W-what?" I stuttered, confused.
Yoongi turned around and smirked at my reaction, even letting out a little chuckle.
I rolled my eyes, but the blush was now in full-force as I tried not to focus on the embarrassment bestowed on me by the Min Yoongi himself.
"That's right - when aren't you annoying?" I muttered, stepping around him to get to the counter.
I heard his laugh before I felt his presence move closer to where I stood. I looked up at him as he took a look at the ice cream options laid out in front of us.
"Only for you," I heard the grin in his voice.
"Oh, hello, kids," came a loud, booming voice. Startled, I glanced upwards at a wrinkled, grinning face.
Both of us bowed at the ahjussi, politely murmuring our greetings. He smiled down at us and offered a short nod of his head before gesturing at us.
"You two are a good-looking couple," he winked and chuckled. It seemed like embarrassment was realllyyy attracted to me as my face grew coloured and I immediately began to protest.
"Thank you -" Yoongi started.
"No, ahjussi, it's not like that," I choked out.
Everything went silent for a second and I felt Yoongi's intake of breath. The ahjussi's grin faltered for a second but immediately returned as he took in our now uncomfortable stances.
"What would you two like today?"

After ordering very awkwardly and grabbing our ice creams, bowing to the parlour owner and promising to come back, we made our way over to one of the tables placed in front of it and sat down.
Yoongi had paid, much to my protest, but now, it seemed like we couldn't seem to get any words out at all.
I sat, watching the little kids playing in the playground a few feet further, and listened to the squawking and chirps of the birds above us. Anything to take me away from what had happened earlier.
"Is it really that bad of an idea?"
I choked on the spoon in my mouth in surprise and while I expected Yoongi to laugh at my struggle as he usually did, he didn't. I glanced up at him sitting across from him, and instead he had only had a blank face over his features.
"Sorry, w-what?"
"What he said back there, Jae Soo," he pushed further, leaning in further into my presence. His dark eyes seemed challenging as he moved his left hand closer to my side of the table. Not once did his eyes leave my own, and while I just barely noticed a strand of his hair fall in his vision, he didn't seem to mind. My eyes darted everywhere, not even bothering to hide the fact that they didn't miss his lips.
I dropped the ice cream I was holding onto the table abruptly, pushed the chair back and grabbed whatever belongings I had with me.
"Jae Soo," He said my name lowly.
"I have to go, I shouldn't be here," I murmured, not bothering to say anything else as I walked away from him.
"Eun Jae Soo," I heard louder.
I ignored it and continued walking.
