A Mother of a Surprise

(3rd POV)

"Harley?"

"Hi Mom."

"I can't believe this!!! How did you-? How is this possible?"

"It was the storm. I guess there was some electricity left in me that it was attracted to. But, I'm back."

"My baby girl is back. God, it's freezing out here. Come in honey, let's get you dried up before you get sick."

(Corbyn's POV)

"Jonah, you're crazy.", Jack said as Jonah explained what he thought he saw.

"Shut up Jack. I know what I saw."

"Really? You saw a blue, glowing figure sprinting in the pouring rain?"

"Jack...come on. If he said he saw something, then maybe he did.", I interrupted.

"Fine."

(Ms. Dorré's POV)

I sit and contemplate whether I should call the boys or not. I know how much they miss her; especially Daniel. But would Harley want me to? I don't want her to get upset. After all, she was crying over Daniel. Maybe this is chance for them to reconnect.

(Corbyn's POV)

Daniel's phone started to ring suddenly. We all looked at each other in confusion.

"Who is it?", Zach asks.

"Ms. Dorré...", he responded hesitantly.

"Hello? Daniel?", I can just barely hear Ms. Dorré say over the phone.

"Um...hi. Is everything alright? You sound nervous."

There's a long pause in the conversation, when Daniel's eye grew ten times larger.

"A-are you sure? Is it okay? Yeah, we'll try tomorrow. Thank you so much."

"Hey, man. Is everything alright?", I asked, concern lacing my words.

"Yeah. I just-..."

"Just what?", Jonah cut in.

"I'm in shock."

"Why?", Jack speaks up.

"She told me... that Harley's back."

"What? How?", Zach questions.

"I don't know yet. She wants us to come to her house tomorrow to see her and figure everything out. You guys up for it?"

We all exchange looks signaling that it would be best.

"Yeah. If we want to find out, I think we'll have to.", I state.

"Alrighty then.", he simply replies.

"I'm gonna head to sleep... maybe clear my head before all of this.", Daniel says before walking to his room, saying the last part somewhat under his breath.

Finally got the new chapter out. It's kinda long but that much. I'll try to post more often, but with constant snow storms, school work and performances I get really busy. I know you guys have been waiting for this, so I finally finished it up. - Jaime 💗
