~I would go through all this pain, take a bullet straight through my brain. Yes, I would die for you, baby, but you won't do the same~

Grenade - Bruno Mars

~Jess' POV~

"I hate you. Just thought you should know that," I tell Ironhide as the others try and contact the base. I focus my attention on Teagan's healing wound and I gently run my claws along the surface of the larger scales surrounding the smaller, dulled scales.

"I'm sorry," he says. "I had no say in the matter."

"I mean we could've ran," I roll my eyes. "Sentinel thought you were dead anyways."

"We would still be hunted," Hide tells me.

"Have you never been on the run before?" I say as I turn to look at him. "Your like a million years old, I doubt you haven't had to hide from someone."

"We need to move before the fighters spot us," Optimus tells. "Wait here until we scout a route ahead. Let's roll."

"Ratchet, cover high," Sideswipe commands.

"I'll stay here and guard the chickens," I say earning a few nasty glares from the soldiers.

"We ain't goin nowhere," Mudflap jerks his brother to his side.

"Hey, think we could use that rocket to shoot down the pillar?" Sam asks.

"So we're not killing Sentinel, we're destroying his pillar," I clarify.

"We're eight blocks away. We got to get closer to take a shot," Epps explains.

"Not closer," one of Epps' friends corrects. "Higher. We need a clear line of sight."

"If you wanna go for a ride then I can fix your height problem," I say as Teagan chirps.

"I'm gonna fall offa that thing, no way," he responds.

"It's across the river," Epps continues. "Gonna have a hell of a time trying to sneak up."

"We only got one shot," another soldier tells.

"What if I take Teagan up there and blast the thing down?" I ask. "That would be a hell of a lot easier."

"She's too big, they'll see her," the soldier explains.

"We can hide in the clouds, then."

"We can't just charge them, Jessica," Sam gripes. "We-we have to think about this and plan it. We gotta have strategies."

"Skids! Mudflap!" I call to them. "Your with me," I say as I walk off with Keiko and Teagan close behind.

"Where are you going?" Sam yells. "We need a plan!"

"My first plan is to get myself as far away from you as possible so that I can make a plan that might actually work," I snap. "I'm done talking," as I say this, I take my wolf form and trot away with Keiko, Teagan, Skids, and Mudflap following me closely in silence.

"I just realized you guys weren't taken away by the feds," I point out.

"They probably thought we died or somethin," Mudflap says.

"Maybe," after I speak, silence ensues.

I peek around a corner to see Ironhide aiming his cannons in front of him as he inspects the alleyway. Teagan chirps to gain his attention. Hide turns quickly, pointing his cannons straight at Teagan until he recognizes her and lowers his weapons.
