Ryland POV'S
So we are half way through the school year, damn I can't believe my last year of school then graduate and hopefully start my music career. Anyway Melody went down by her mother's house for Christmas although she cause a fight with her and came up eariler so we celebrated New Years with her. These past few months with her wasn't actually bad besides sneaking out of the house, drinking, sometimes smoking. It might seem that bad now but she's gotten better i guess she hides in her room most of the time and never comes out. And on top it all off she has honors in all classes and her GPA average is 3.789 (Okay I sound like a hugeee nerd right but that's freakin awesome) Mine is 3.508... what the hell.
"Hey Ryland" mom says
"Hey mom" i said sitting on the couch looking through Facebook
"As you know prom is coming up..." she says continuing to finish the sentence
"And I'll like if you took Melody" she says nervously wishing i would say yes... hell fucking no
"Hell to no, are you crazy?" I flipped
"Ryland, she doesn't have any friends, she doesn't have a boyfriend, she's always hiding in her room-" she said when i rudely cut her off
"Its because nobody likes that litt-"
"DO NOT FINISH THAT SENTENCE" mom yells trying cool off.
"I get your mad and don't like her but I think she's starting to like it her. Think about it less drinking, less partying.... maybe she's starting to..you know like us" she says does she really like melody?
"*groans* I hardly doubt it she's nothing but trouble in this family, she never gets along with us" I said
"She gets along with you" mom says I looked confused
"Figure it out" she says then walks away
Melody POV'S
Okay so I've gotten a little soft only because well... I have no where to go and my mom doesn't want me back home anymore... Oh you didn't know? Well mom was the one that start the bull crap
Flashback (Christmas)
Of course I got the boys something (I do love my brothers)
"MELODYY" says the boys when I walked in through the door and giving me hugs
"Hi guys I miss you guys soo much" I said holding them tightly
"You guys got so big" I continued godsh I never seen them so excited to see me
"Look what Santa got me one of them said (author note: they are both twins, as u probably know, and there names are CJ and Dylan) Dylan show me he got all of the advengers toys and the Playsation game and CJ of course had to show me he got Minecraft Xbox game
"Very nice boys I also got you guys a little something too i said pulling out my luggage I pulled out there gifts and gave to them I gave Dylan a remote control car and CJ huge bounce house that goes outside
"Now both of have to share these, okay" I said they smiled and running away to play with there new stuff
"Merry Christmas Mel." Mom says when I walked into the kitchen
"Merry Christmas mom" I said walking over giving her a hug (I know, again I've gone soft but also it's a holiday)
"How LA" she says stuffing the turkey
"Good" I said giving her a short answer responds
●Dinner●
Now I'm pissed my mom finally told me she has a boyfriend who is ten times her age he had grease brown hair with grey roots with brow eyes, he's a total fatass that has no job and lives in his mother's basement... Yea I know a total charmer and his name is even the worst part... Gretel.
"So this is melody, melody this my boyfriend Gretel" mom says trying to make a conversation at the table. The boys aren't really paying any attention besides on each other
"Now to meet you melody, I heard a lot about you" he says sarcasticly
"Oh, I would say the same thing, but really even heard your name not even once" I said sarcasticly and then mom kicked me under the table telling me to knock it off but I heard the boys chuckling which made me smile
"Shut the fuck up boy" he said and snap
"Excuse me that's not the way you talk to them" I snap feeling pissed
"I can talk the way I can talk to them I'm there father" he says
"YOU AREN'T THERE FATHER, NOT EVEN FREAKIN CLOSE SAY YOUR THEIR FATHER ONE MORE TIME I DARE YOU" I said flipping out he got up and went over by crunching his hand into a fist finally. Finally when he was in front of me he punch my stomach making me fall onto the floor hold my stomach... not even crying
"YOU LITTLE BITCH! STOP RUINING THIS FAMILY" he says started slapping me in the face
"GRETEL STOP YOUR HURTING HER" mom said finally sticking up for me for once, then I heard the boys crying at the point telling eachother 'I don't want him to hurt her' 'Now, he's hurting her, now when she leave he's gonna hurt us more'
That's when I lost it more I grab his wrist and then looked I him with the ugliest glare I gave to anyone. I punch him in the face and climb onto of him punching him in the face
"HOW FUCKING DARE YOU HURT MY BROTHERS, HOW DARE YOU EXCUSE ME RUINING THEIR LIVE, AND HOW DARE YOU WALKING INTO THIS FUCKING HOUSE LIKE YOU FUCKING RUN IT. YOU ARE NOT THERE FATHER, YOUR NOT THE HUSBAND TO MY MOTHER. YOU HAVE BALL COMING UP TO ME AND ABUSING ME AND THE REST OF US." I screamed while punching him (A/N: at this point she blacked out) finally I felt someone's hand wrapped around my stomach pushing me back.. my mom. She had tears streaming down, constantly shaking that when I saw all the bruises on her arms. I looked up to see how beauitful she really is, I never notice how much pain there was In her eyes. Bruising and scars all over her face
"I-Im sorry" I said holding back my tears. I went to hug her but she pulled me back
" I thought you would grow out of this Melody. You ruin everything, you are the worst daughter i ever raised. I don't want you to come back for the holiday. And when your done with school I'll have all your stuff ready for you. You no longer live with us, you no long have me or your brothers. I never wanna see your face again" she said Then walked away with the boys I started sobbing tried holding it back but couldn't. As I rushed to the bathroom and locked myself in it I look at myself in the mirror. Saw nothing but a swollen lip bloody nose saw cut and bruising all over. I rushed out the bathroom grab my stuff and left
Flashback over
"Melody you okay?" Stormie said walking Into my room, I realize I was crying
"I'm fine" I lied
"No honey your not what wrong" she says
"M-mom disowned m-me" I stutter I saw the sadness in her face never saw anyone that felt so bad for me
"I'm so sorry honey" she said walked over by me and hugged me
