8. 'Unplug'

Everyone stood in silence, not wrapping their heads around this right.

'Guys...' Olivia said

'Guys, let's get into our cars, and go up to my cottage for a few nights, relax, unplug. Get away from social media. We can leave our phones in my bedroom safe, and allow our parents to know, we can leave Thursday and come home Monday? How's that sound?' Jay asked

'Id love to' Alexis smiled, 'Girls?'

'And if anyone has a boy they wanna bring, just talk to me about it' Jay smiled 'A luxury weekend'

'Well, I wont say no to that!' Jordyn said 'After these past few weeks, I'm dying for a get away. Hopefully Cheryl lets me go'

''Jordyn, I really love you, but why.. Why do you call your parents by their names?''

'It's their rules!' Jordyn said 'I wish I could just say mom and dad... like normal kids'

'Anyways, I'm in' Olivia smiled, 'Kate?'

'Out. I cant go this weekend, new York college tour.. I'm sorry' Kate sighed.

'No, it's ok. Maybe next time' Alexis smiled 'So the four of us! Yes!'

'And an exception of a boyfriend' Jay smiled 'as long as I give them the ok!'

Thursday 2:45pm Beacon Heights.

'We all ready to go?' Jay asked opening his trunk and loading his and Alexis' bags into the back, Jordyn and Olivia put theirs in too.

'We're good' Jordyn smiled getting into the back, and so did Olivia. Alexis got into the front with Jay.

'I'm so excited' Alexis smiled. She turned on the radio, 'Look what you made me do'- Taylor swift was playing.

'I love this song' Jordyn said as Jay started the car, and pulled out of the school parking lot.

Jay began to do 90 when he hit the highway, everyone rolled down their windows, it was such a nice day today. They screamed out the window, and let the wind flow in their face. It was nice, to get away from social media, and Justine's death.

'Are we almost there baby?' Alexis asked, looking at the time, it was 3:50pm

'Another half hour maybe' Jay smiled 'We're getting close to the town'

'Ok' Alexis smiled holding onto Jay's hand

Jay pulled into a drive-inn coffee place. 'I'm dying to drink something, anyone want something?' Jay asked

'Oh my god, can I have a caramel latte?' Jordyn asked, Jay smiled, 'And ill have a strawberry smoothie' Olivia said

'Babe?' Jay asked, 'What do you want?'

'A vanilla milkshake' Alexis giggled

'Ok, I'm ready to order, Ill have one Caramel latte, one Strawberry smoothie, a vanilla milkshake and one Pumpkin spice latte' Jay ordered

'Alright you're total will be $7.50 at the second window' The woman said, Jay pulled through, paid and left with the drinks.

'Thanks!' Olivia and Jordyn smiled

'No problem' Jay smiled, giving Alexis a kiss.

4:30pm

'Jay pulled into the cabin driveway and drove for maybe 2 minutes until he reached the only cabin around for miles. He looked over at Lexi, who was fast asleep, and Jordyn was on her phone, Olivia was passed out too. Jay got out of the car, and so did Jordyn. they each carried the bags into the cabin.
