10. 'Happy Birthday.'

It was Tuesday night, 6:30pm. Everyone gathered into a hug room,

'We're here to celebrate Kate's 17th birthday!' Alexis smiled, standing on a table. 'Were gonna have a blast! But everyone out by 12!, Starting now we.... PARTY!'

The DJ put on a mixed tape, and everyone started to dance, Jay helped Lexi off the table, and the two walked away.

'Hey Kate!' A guy, the same height as her said, grabbing her hand

'Josh' Kate blushed 'Hi'

'Hey! I was looking for you' Josh smiled 'I wanted to know if you'd like to go out?'

'Right now?' Kate asked 'it's my party..'

'No, I mean like... Date me' Josh laughed

'Oh... I'd love that' Kate smiled, holding his hand, The door opened and a few more people entered, Kate spotted Grace walk in, hand-in-hand with her sister Alison.

''Ugh, ill be back'' Kate said, ''Could you get a beer for the two of us?''

''Sure'' Josh said, Kate marched over to Alison and Grace.

''What the hell are you doing here!'' Kate snapped

''I was invited by you?'' Alison asked

''Ya, why is she here?'' Kate asked

''I have no clue. I saw her outside so we came in together, oh, here's your gift'' Alison said handing her a small Pandora bag.

''Thanks'' Kate said, ''I need to talk to Grace tho, so if you could go do something,''

Grace and Kate walked over to the porch and went outside, ''You cant be here''

''Why not'' Grace said 'Its a party''

''Yea, mine. I don't like you''

''But you invite my sister?'' Grace asked

''Ya, actually.. She's really nice, and not nuts'' Kate said

''I'm not nuts, Kate. That's Olivia''

''Liv isn't crazy, She's protective'' Kate said

''Is that what she says now, Protective?'' Grace asked

''You're the one who put the knife to her back, and mine... Remember that!'' Kate said

''Yea, and I also remember I was put in a cooping hospital for a year'' Grace said ''People change, do you really know Olivia... Or yourself''

''Get out of my house, please'' Kate said ''Or ill have to force you out''

Inside Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space' was blaring, making it hard to hear what Grace was saying, but than she marched away, and Kate went back inside to find Olivia.

In the corner was Jordyn and some dude making out, ''I'm Mark'' He introduced himself in between kisses.

''I'm Jordyn'' She smiled pulling at his shirt.

'Slow down a bit' He said

'I don't do slow, I've done slow my whole life, and I'm sick of it' Jordyn said biting his lip.

'Please, stop' He said

'I'm sorry...' Jordyn said 'I'm not like this,..'

'It's ok, just.. we just met, let's take it slower'

'Alright' Jordyn smiled kissing him again.

Lexi walked across the crowd and found Kate, pulling her aside. 'I saw Grace, why is she here?'
