[[ Naru's POV: ]]

Not sure how many minutes have passed since I went away from the party. It's still raining. And me... still soaking wet too. With no one with me. And no one to follow me.

I'm somewhere quiet. The basketball court. There's no one here since it's raining. No one would want to play basketball when the place is this slippery.

I'm sitting on a bench, my fringe all over my face, my eyes closed, my head tilted up to the skies... and probably shed some unnecessary tears.

But I'm not sure if I really did. Who knows, maybe it's just the rain drops?

"I won't cry for something..." I choked, "So dumb."

I grit my teeth. Doing the exact opposite of what I just said to myself.

Look at me... and see how this story become this pathetic.

[[ Kise's POV: ]]

"Naru..." I whispered, dumbfounded about what happened.

"You should have cared when we were still friends, Kise. Now it's just too late. We don't even know each other anymore."

What does that even mean?

I desperately ordered my feet to move, turning around and made my way towards the elevator.

I started off by walking slow, then it got faster, as it escalated into a quick jog. I can hear Yuna and the others, calling my name as they also ask where Naru is. But I didn't pay attention. I just kept on moving.

The moment the elevator opened, I immediately uttered 'Eleven', the floor where my room is.

I almost screamed out of frustration imside since there are some other people in the hotel going in and out of the elevator. I even needed to smile like how I did at the event.

Act nice, Kise. Act Nice.

And finally. I reached my floor. As the elevator doors opened, I rushed outside in a flash. I took my key card from the back pocket of my pants and placed it in front the sensor. After the clicking sound, I pulled down the door knob and made my way in.

I rumaged through my things, looking for a goddamned umbrella.

And yes, I went here for that reason.

I threw all the things inside my bag onto the top of my bed and inspected them. Unfortunately, it's not inside my bag.

I then went to the cabinets and opened them all. And gladly, there it was. A black umbrella.

Grabbing it in a second, I again went out of the room. The elevator doors are just opening again when I needed it so I immediately went inside and asked for the ground floor. I was keeping my calm, and I guess I did pretty well this time. There were no other people who knows me much anymore so it kind of calmed me too.

As the doors open, I saw Yuna and Tori outside. As they looked up, our gazes met and they both opened their mouths to probably ask me about Naru. Instead of talking to them, I whispered to them a small "later" and ran onto the outside where Naru awaits.

I got soaking wet just after some moments of jogging and pausing to think of where Naru could be staying at right now. She probably went somewhere silent and calming. But where? There are so many parks around this area and I'm not sure what park is familiar to her.
