VI. Photoshoot

Days passed by after we knew that Kise was here. Well, I luckily didn't encouter him somewhere because if I did, I guess my heart would jump out of my throat.

Seeing one another would be kind of impossible, I guess. I work at the hospital, and he works somewhere with a good view. He is also here to make some photoshoots. To be honest, I'm praying that he's not here for the photoshoot later tho.

And yes, the shoot my sis bitched about would be held sooner than later... Please prepare my coffin. I hate doing this modeling thing.

But anyway, I'm at the hospital again. Talking to the nurses and later, I'd be facing one of our patient's parents.

Our patient at the moment is a young boy. He's just 12 years old but then he's diagnosed with a cancer in his lymphatic system. It was Hodgkin Lymphona, the third most common type of cancer in kids around his age. It is rare for kids to get it tho.

The lymphatic system is the one responsible for fighting off infections and keeping you healthy. It's made up of the tonsils, spleen, bone marrow, and chains of lymph nodes which are rounded masses of tissue that's found throughout the body. Although many types of cancer can spread to the lymph system, lymphoma actually begins in the cells of the system itself.

We already made a blood test, X-ray, CT scan and a biopsy where we tested a portion of his lymph tissues under a microscope. After we were done with all the tests, we determined that it was already on stage four. The cancer has already invaded his whole body.

He'd go through chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Hopefully, he'd get better soon. It's gotta be hard not being able to go out so you won't be affected by some illness.

Enough of weird things tho. I've been talking about this hodgkin something when it's the first page of the chapter. The hell? Why not just start with the day already, Author-san? Idiot. -_-

"Naru? Are you there?" The familiar serious voice of my brother caught my attention and I instantly turned around to greet him.

"Hey! Bro, can you please take care of the rest?" I said while taking my lab coat off and placing it on the chair.

"I haven't talked to Satomi-kun's parents yet so take care of that for me." I tapped my brother's shoulders and looked at him with an intense stare even before a sound comes out of his slightly parted lips that looks perverted to me at the moment.

"You know me, bro. I can't talk infront of others." I said in monotone.

Well, it's the truth. I get all flustered and nervous when I talk to others. I can't handle that much stress.

He sighed and closed his eyes, "Okay. I'll take care of it." He said, understanding my situation.

I smiled at him and giggled, "Anyway bro, I'll be gone now." I said as I skipped out of the room, "I'll be late for the damn event."

He laughed at me, "Goodluck at the photoshoot." He showed me a smirk and I gave him a wink.

"Don't worry, I'd still be loyal to you even if they'd be hptter than you~" I said and ran for my life.

"No one else could be hotter than your brother! You idiot!" I hear him shouting.

Well, I can imagine his angry face turning into a smile tho. It's just that I said I'll be loyal to him even if there are other gays-- I mean, guys around me. That's my bro's simple joys in life.

I went to the praking lot and opened my car. I drive my own car sometimes because I don't want to bother people so much.

Before I go to the photoshoot, I ordered fries, burger and a float somehwere because I was kind of hungry. It'd be embarassing if my stomach suddenly shouted, "FOOD!" while I'm modeling with hot guys, right?
