Seventh Year Craziness

Last Day of Summer!!!

        I looked at my suitcase, and smiled. I was finally going to be in my seventh year! This year I was going to make things right. I was going to get a girlfriend and finish Hogwarts with a clean (somewhat...) record. I fell onto my bed and smiled at my ceiling. Why couldn't Hogwarts come sooner? I just wanted Summer to be done, I wanted to be at school hanging out with my friends. Hmmm.... I wonder what they're doing? Probably messing around, doing pranks, the usual. I kept thinking about school when I heard, "Remus Lupin, get your bloody ass down here!" 

        I ran down the stairs. What did I do now? I walked down into the kitchen which was full of smoke. Oh no... I forgot about the rolls in the oven. Why was my memory failing me?

        "I thought I told you to watch the rolls!!! You are a bloody idiot!" Mum yelled. "Fix it!"

        I quickly grabbed my wand, and used some spell to get rid of the smoke, and then took the rolls out of the oven. They were jet black, and mum groaned in anger. 

        "I'm sorry mum, I was just thinking about school and packing, and I forgot all about it," I mumbled.

        "Well be more careful next time! We are going to go out for dinner now," Mum said, and smiled a little. 

        "Where do you want to go?" I asked quietly. Mum was still fuming, but she was calmer. She looked at me with a hard look, and said, "We will go into Hogsmeade and see what there is."

        I took my mom's hand and we disapparated, I closed my eyes, feeling motion sickness, like no other. I hated apparating and disapparating. I always felt like I was going to vomit after. I steadied myself and looked around, seeing my mom going into "The Three Broomsticks." I quickly ran up to her, and walked into The Three Broomsticks. I looked around and saw Sirius with James. 

        "Mum, I'm going to go over to James and Sirius." I said. I ran off before she could say anything and stopped at their table. 

        "Oh look who finally arrived, Padfoot," James said and smirked. 

        "Hey Moony!! How are you? Good! Great!" Sirius said, and started laughing.

        "Where's Wormtail?" I said, and laughed a little. 

        "He's off with his girlfriend..." James said, and smiled.

        How the hell, did Peter get a girlfriend before me? Man, am I really that much of bookworm. God, I always thought I'd get a girlfriend before Peter did. I just must not be good with girls. 

        "Oh, that's surprising. Who is it?" I asked. I tried to keep the curiosity out of my voice, what if he got someone hot? Then I'd feel like a total, complete retard with girls.

        "Some fat chick," Sirius said and shrugged. I began to laugh, and sat down next to James. 

        "So who are you guys dating?" I asked. I tried to keep it casual, but what if I was the only one who didn't have a girlfriend, much less a girl that noticed me. 

        "Some girl named Angie. She's hot, and apparently she's a Gryffindor. I've never noticed her before, til this Summer," Sirius said and smirked. "How bout' you Moony, got a girl in your life?"

        "Ummm... No, not really." I said as casually as I could. James smiled and lifted up his hand for a hand-five.

        "Welcome to the SIngle Club Moony!!!" James said, and slapped my hand.

        "I've been in the Single Club for the past 4 years," I muttered under my breath, but said loudly, "So Lily hasnt come around yet?"

        "Sadly not. But we ran into her, and I think she's starting to like me!!" James said. I smirked and Sirius began to laugh. 

        "Totally, she's totally starting to like you, even though she punched you in the nose today, after you flirted with her!!!" Sirius said, and began to laugh harder. I laughed, and James glared at us. 

        "Sorry, I just had to tell Moony, I just had to!" Sirius said in between laughs.

        "You guys are the worst friends ever," James muttered and drank some of his butterbeer. 

        "Hey look there's my dear cousin Nymphie!!" Sirius said, and got up. 

        I looked at where Sirius was pointing and saw Tonks. Her hair was bright purple, and she wore striped pants with a neon pink cardigan. She had white converse on and her hair was spiked. I smiled, why was she so pretty? Wait... What?! I did not like Nymphadora Tonks, Nope! I got up with James and Sirius and started walking towards Tonks. She was walking with Lily, and she smiled when she saw us. Lily looked at James and I swear, I saw her blush. Why was she blushing if she despised James? I merrily raised an eyebrow and walked towards Tonks.

        "Hi Tonks," I said, and smiled broadly at her. I looked at her eyes, and noticed how beautiful and perfect they are. NO, I do NOT like Tonks. 

        "Hey Lupin, how are you?" She said casually. She pulled out some chocolate and began eating it, "Want some?"

        "What? Oh... umm... Sure," I said. This is not going well, why can't I act normal around her? She handed me a chocolate chunk and smiled. I began to eat it, sighing in relief for my awkwardness, from a moment before. 

        "Hey Nymphie!!" Sirius said, and glared at me. Why was he glaring at me?I didn't do anything wrong! 

        "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me Nymphie!!! I hate the nickname, almost as much as I hate my real name!!!" Tonks said, and her hair turned red for a second. She smiled, and ruffled Sirius's hair. 

        "Hey, I spent 20 minutes on my hair today!" Sirius said, and began laughing.

        "Oh you poor baby!" Tonks said, and slapped Sirius on the head. 

        I looked over and saw Lily and James smiling and laughing at each other. Then what surprised me more was when Lily hugged him. What the Hell?! Well he's not in the singles club anymore... Dammit, I'm the only single one out of us now. 

        "Well see ya!!! It was good seeing you again Remus!!!" Tonks said. Lily smiled at me and hugged me.         

        "Lily, are you drunk?" I asked, while I laughed. She blushed, and said, "NO!!!"

        The two of them walked away, smiling and laughing on their way out. I couldn't help but smile at Tonks, she was perfect. 

        "Well, how was that to end Summer?" James said, and began laughing. I couldnt help but laugh with the two of them, and think, This year is going to be one hell of a year!
