Seventh Year Craziness

Butterbeer, Firewhisky, and Rum.

        It had been a couple of hours since we had gotten back from Hogmeade, and I had a butterbeer in front of me. James had brought them with him, when he had come back from Hogsmeade and hour or so ago. I still felt sick, and all I wanted to do was crawl up in large ball and sulk. I still felt sick to my stomach from seeing Tonks with that guy. James and Sirius were laughing and drinking their Butterbeer happily. I just sulked and looked at mine, sizing it up and down. 

        "Can you get drunk off Butterbeer?" I asked after five minutes of looking at it. 

        James and Sirius looked at me with curiosity and James said, "Ya..."

        "How?" I asked. It just didn't seem possible.

        "Umm.. I don't know. You just can for some reason. James and I did it last year," Sirius replied. Curiosity was written all over their faces, and I looked back at my butterbeer. 

        "Good, cause I feel like getting drunk," I said and with that I gulped down my butterbeer.

        I felt happy and I drank some more of my firewhisky. I had already had five butterbeers, four firewhiskies, and two rums. I smiled at everyone and began singing with James and Sirius. I don't even know what the hell we were singing, but I thought it was pretty funny. 

        "I need to go on a walk," I said to James and Sirius, who were still singing the silly song. 

        I walked out through the porthole, with a full bottle of firewhisky. I smiled at everyone waving my drink at them. People looked at me with confused expressions and some did double-takes. I just laughed at them.

        I took a swig of my drink when I ran into something. I looked down and saw Lily, she looked me and smiled, "I was starting to wonder where you were." 

        "I've been in the common room the whole time," I slurred, my voice wasn't working properly. 

        "Remus, ar-are you drunk?" She said. She looked at me through narrowed eyes. I just smiled at her and said, "Yep!" 

        I kept smiling at her and she looked at me with a disappointed expression. "I would have never expected this from you Remus. James and Sirius, yes, but not you," She said, disappointment ringing in her voice. I just smiled larger at her.

        "Well, I guess I can't rely on you to go help clean the library, so just go back to bed Remus," She said. She looked at me one last time and then turned briskly on her heel. I smiled at her and began walking back towards the common room, when I knocked into something.

        I fell over, dropping my firewhisky in the process. I looked up and saw Tonks. I smiled at her. She looked so pretty. Her hair was blue hinted with pink and she had on her robes.         

        "Oh my God Remus!!! I'm so sorry!" She looked at me and I got up, grabbing my firewhisky. I looked at it with an upset expression, it was only half full now. Tonks directed her eyes to bottle and gasped. 

        "Remus you haven't been drinking have you?!" Tonks said. She looked at me with a worried expression and I said, "Don't worry Tonks, I'm fine, the firewhisky is only helping." 

        "Oh my God, Remus, please don't drink. Your one of the few good guys out there, that doesn't drink," She said, and looked at me with a sad expression. I just smiled at her and said, "Okay!!!"

        She smiled a bit, and said, "Well, I guess I should help you back to your common room." I smiled at her and took a swig of my firewhisky. Once I had lowered it, she grabbed it. 

        "Hey, that's mine," I whined. I wanted it back, I had gotten it from the fridge. 

        "Not anymore it isn't. This is going straight in the garbage, once we find one," She looked at me with a hard look, and her hair turned red. I nodded my head and began to play with her hair. 

        "Your so pretty Tonks," I slurred, and she blushed slightly. 

        We kept walking towards the common room, and I kept playing with her hair. It was incredibly soft and I smiled each time it slipped through my fingers. She told me about Charlie, and how much of prat he's been lately. 

        I looked at her and said, "You deserve someone better, Tonks, someone who makes you feel better and happy. Someone that will love you to the end of time." She blushed and smiled. "Thanks Remus, you're right I do."

        I smiled at her and we rounded a corner that led to the Gryffindor Common Room. She smiled at me and said, "Remus, I want you to go straight to bed, and don't have any alcohol, even if James and Sirius offer it to you." 

        I smiled and her and said, "Okay, I'll do that."

        She smiled back at me showing all her pearly white teeth. Before I knew what I was doing I had lean down and kissed her gently on the lips. I quickly pulled away and said, "Remember what I said, you deserve better than that git Charlie."

        She stood there shocked for a bit, but then nodded her head. I looked at the fat lady, and said, "Toadstools." The porthole opened and I crawled through the porthole, looking at Tonks who was walking away. I then passed out.
