Dean Stetz as Henerson Whales  ❤️

"Good work!" I knocked on the glass to get my boss' attention. Praying that he's no longer mad.

It seemed like an employee from the accounting department walked in and saw something terrifying. I was planning to scare them a little, but who would have thought someone would go to the office at lunchtime?

I wish I had seen Henerson's face though. He must be so mad. He was literally drilling holes in my head when I came back, but chose not to say a word.

I hope it serves him a lesson.

Do not have sex in the office.

Anyway, it's time to go home, but Henerson seems to be staying for a while.

He looked up at me with a glare which I avoided by looking down. As you can see, I'm using my acting skills to pretend that I'm so guilty that I couldn't even look him in the eyes.

It was an accident, right? My hands were guilty, but I'm not. Kidding!

"You seem in a hurry. A date?" He raised a brow and I blushed for getting caught so fast.

Well, I planned to hook up a bit. Find a decent man to date after a painful break-up, but it depends if I find someone who suits my taste.

"Hope?"

Oh, I blanked a bit.

"Ah... I'm going to meet a friend." I looked up at him with a smile and for a moment he stared at me, coldly-

"Let me borrow your phone." I raised a brow confused as I approached him.

Was it just my imagination?

"I already have your number."

"Just give me." He raised his hand and opened his palm. He looked impatient, so I just gave it to him after I unlocked it.

I tiptoed and tried to peek at what he was doing, but he leaned on his chair away from me. After a minute or two, he finally gave me back my phone. I stared at him suspiciously.

"What did you do?"

"Nothing. See you on Monday." Henerson finally smiled.

What is this sudden change of attitude? Oh well, I better hurry.

I was about to turn and leave when he added- "You look great in your wallpaper, by the way." I blushed hard before running away fast.

He laughed out loud when I was about to close the door and I groaned, annoyed.

First my clothes, now my wallpaper?! Can't he stop mocking me?

We're not even kids anymore. What's funny about teasing a grown-up man?

Sighed. It's too late to ask now. I'll be staying for another month before I'm financially stable enough to leave.

There's no way I'll stay next to him.

He's not good for my heart...

***

"Over here!" I turned towards where the voice came from and when I saw my friend's bright red head, I sighed in relief.

Sometimes it's scary to visit a bar alone. Someone will suddenly approach you-

"Hi there." A black guy hovered over me and I stiffened at how huge he was.

I still haven't gotten over my trauma and sudden approaches like this could trigger my anxiety.

Funny about how I'm able to work under the person who made me like this.
