Just fucking give up already?! I begged while chasing my breath. I prayed that my feet would lead me somewhere safe away from the three devils chasing after me. Just when I thought this day would end well, those assholes showed up!
"He turned that way!" Peter shouted excitedly from the end of the hallway and I immediately ran down the stairs like a cat on the run.
Surprisingly, my stamina has improved after running for my life for almost 3 years. They have rarely caught me these past few months! I hope this continues until this school year ends.
I jumped at the last few steps, confident that I'd make it.
Finally, I'll get away from them soon-
"Whoa!" I shouted when another student suddenly stopped on the spot I was about to land. Gravity pulled me down, and he stared at me in surprise.
Just when I was about to fall on him, an arm suddenly wrapped around my chest to stop me on time. Is it strong enough to carry me or was it because I'm too light?
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" The student shouted in my face. "What if you've hurt me? Do you know who my father is?!"
Another spoiled brat.
This school is full of it.
"Are you done?" The boy who stopped my fall coldly asked.
I immediately looked up to see his face and, to my complete shock, it was none other than Rale Stephen.
Fuck.
The student wasn't able to say another word. He clicked his tongue and immediately walked away.
Wow, the advantage of being inside Henerson's circle is surely something else. No one could go against them.
Rale found me staring and raised his brow, questioningly as he let go of me.
"What are you? A squirrel?" He asked rudely, and I stared at him, offended. I was about to open my mouth, but he started walking up the stairs.
What a complete jackass-
"Rale!" My instinct immediately pulled me to hide on the side of the stairs after hearing Benny's voice this time. "Have you seen Hope?!"
Oh no... He'll sell me out!
"Yeah," Rale answered and my body stiffened in so much fear before grabbing my head in distress.
No! I can't get caught by those three!
"He climbed up again when he saw me."
Huh?
My eyes widened when he told those lies.
"Fuck! I knew it!" Benny shouted before climbing up fast again.
Did he just save me again?
Why?
"Wait," I called, but Rale continued going up. I hate how nasty his attitude was, but still-
But still...
"Thanks! I-I owe you one!" I shouted, but he just continued walking away.
At least say something, you jackass-
