HENERSON

"Is there something wrong?" I asked when I noticed him staring intensely at me again. He immediately looked away and mumbled,

"Nothing."

Has it already been more than a week? He started staring so much that I began to worry for real.

'Probably plotting your murder.' – Benny

'He might skin you in your sleep.' – Ash

'Aww... You'll be missed, Hener.' – Peter

My useless friends commented after I shared the situation, while Rale kept the group in 'seen' mode. Not that I cared.

'Bitches.' I sent back, then looked up from my phone to catch Hope glancing at me before turning to his computer. There was a hint of blush on his cheek as I eyed him.

I tapped my phone on my chin, ignoring the messages from my friends, wondering if I had done something wrong. I was really careful with my actions, even serving him with all my might. I only messed up at the restaurant, but he seemed okay with it.

Did his friend not like me? Was that it?

Hope seemed really conscious of me, his body stiffening when I stood up from my seat. I kept my steps slow and light as I walked towards him, but that didn't lessen his worry. He kept his guard up, which annoyed me a bit.

"Hope." I called as I leaned on the side of his table, but he kept his eyes glued to the blank document in front of him.

"Yes?" Even his voice sounded nervous.

It's like he's scared of me. My chest tightened with worry immediately. That can't be. Things were getting better.

"Hope, look at me," I said, but he remained still. I started to get annoyed and pulled his office chair to face me. He gasped loudly as I trapped him completely.

He looked at me wide-eyed, and I coldly stared down at him.

"W-what are you doing?" he asked as I leaned closer, forcing him to meet my gaze. I stayed silent, which made him uncomfortable.

It wasn't my intention, but seeing that he found it hard to look me in the eyes, it worried me.

"Did I do something wrong?" I finally asked, sounding like a little kid, and he stiffened. "You could have told me rather than ignore me."

"I-I wasn't!" He defended himself.

"You are."

"No, I'm not." He persisted, and I raised a brow.

If not, then...

"What's wrong?" I asked as I knelt between his legs, leaning the side of my face on his thigh, almost pouting from the lack of attention. His face turned red immediately before he looked away from me.

I hated that.

His body stiffened as I gripped his thigh and trailed the tip of my nose from his knee closer to his crotch, loving how my scent was all over him.

"Henerson, we talked about this." Hope covered his mouth as I continued.

"Am I doing anything wrong?" I asked as I leaned on his crotch, obviously tempting the man who made the rules.
