Chapter 5: The Terms And Agreements

Eren's POV:

We walked through the hallway of what looks like a castle. The stony wall looked clean and not a single spec of dust can be seen, neither cobwebs too. The torches are somewhat glittering and was burning a bright sapphire. I thought blue fires can only be seen in stoves when the gastank is full. I've never seen such fire, the flickers somewhat looked like the colors of the ocean. This place is enchanting.

Although the way is lighted with this amazing cobalts, the walls are cold and very creepy. It was like the hallway was still dark or half dim it seems. I could hear that guy's footsteps as his heels clicked the cemented floor.

I could hear snarls and growl but they are almost inaudible that I thought my mind was only playing tricks on me. I shuffled myself and get closer to him. He walked very slow as if he was dragging his feet or what. Until I bumped into him. 'Ow!' I mumbled at the impact.

He doesn't seem to budge at all. He was like a firm barricade. He's too strong and his stiffness I kinda like it to be honest. Must be from the hard work that's why his muscles are bulging with every move he make. It was cool though. I sometimes trained my body but not to the extent that I won't be pushed as easily, like what he is doing.

I forgot he could read minds. I'm pathetic. It was like I'm falling head over heels to this guy. My cheeks heat up as I felt annoyance for my every thought.

"OK you'll start tomorrow. So today you have to eat, shit, and sleep. Anything else you want to know before we proceed to the dining hall?" he uttered without looking at me.

"Ah...yeah. How long will I stay here? And....what am I going to start tomorrow?" I asked him quizzically.

"Since I'm letting you stay for free you need to compensate me in some other way. I told you, you will be my slave for the rest of your life."

".....You will do as I say. Without complaining and objections. Unless you want to pay me in some other way. I could use you as my toy." he chuckled.

"Why do I have to work for you. I only owe you my life. Maybe I could repay you with money but please I don't want to stay here." I told him slightly annoyed with the 'slave thing' he was saying.

"Hmm...you have quite the nerve brat. I already told you what I am. Yet you still defy me. I like that. It would be fun seeing you break slowly." he licked his fangs afterwards.

Faint snarls and growls can be heard at the hallways wall. Closing in as the dark side of every wall looked like crawling towards me. I stepped backwards, only to my surprise he wasn't there anymore. I looked at my back. Frantically searching for him as I started to shake in fright. Then from the shadows, two figure emerge. One was a dark furball that almost stands five feet in height and the other one was a giant blue fox with a height of four feet.

They were growling furiously as if they were going to tear me to shreds anytime. They lunge forward and I fall back, stumbling and landed in my tush. They bite at my legs and thighs, tearing large chunks of my flesh. I screamed in horror as I watched them eat me helplessly. Tears rolling down my eyes as I lost my sanity. My teal gold eye are looking at them lifeless and dull. My whole being as if completely shut off as I stopped screaming. The scrutinizing pain that seems unbearable was numbing away.

"Did you learn your lesson now?" a deep dark voice echoed from the walls. I heard a snapping sound and in an instant I was back in where I stood, beside him. I glanced at him with utter fear as I shake uncontrollably. Too terrified of everything I saw. It was too realistic and I was somewhat relieved that it was all an illusion. "Defy me one more time and I won't hesitate to give you another one of those nightmares. Do you understand?" he nonchalantly said.
