Mulan's POV
I went outside to do my daily chores when many little girls approached me. "We wanna be like you, Fa Mulan!" they admired.
"Well, let's get started, haha." I told them. "We must start with Lesson Number 1! You must be tough yet gentle..." They had curious looks on their faces.
"H-how do you be tough AND gentle..?" one of them asked me.
"Well, the world is full of opposites and well, so are you!" I smiled as I kneeled down to them. I taught them how to do everything when Shang came.
"Hello, Mulan!" he greeted. "And hello, little warriors in training!"
Each child squealed in delight. "GENERAL SHANG! IT'S GENERAL SHANG!"
"Umm... M-M-Mulan can I talk to you?" He asked me, I nodded. All the little girls looked up at us. "Alone?" he implied.
"Oh-of course, Shang!" I said, "little warriors, go practice! Be tough and gentle!" They all squealed once again and all but one left.
"I'm staying." She told us stubbornly.
"Here, why don't you take care of this while I talk to Mulan?" Shang asked the girl politely as he took his General Helmet, kneeled down and gestured to it.
"OF COURSE!!!!!" she screamed. She took the helmet and ran after the others.
I laughed, "You know you're never getting that back, right?"
"Yup but I've got more important things." He smiled. "Mulan, I know I haven't known you that long but... I want to say... you're a great soldier."
"Oh... you're a great General..." I frowned, I thought he was going to speak to me about our relationship.
He obviously saw my disappointment so he quickly recovered from his awkward shyness. "Mulan-I'm sorry. What I'm really trying to say is..." he kneeled down and I gasped. "W-W-Will you, Fa Mulan and Ping," he chuckled as he said Ping, "marry me and be my special warrior until I die?" He smiled.
This time, it was my turn to squeal. "Shang! Of course!" I returned the smile but mine was huge and even bigger than his proud one. He stood up and we hugged and he kissed me on my forehead. I looked up and planted a kiss on his cheek. As the sun set, we latched arms and walked back to my house.
"Mama, papa, grandma!" I called. They walked over to us.
"We have some pretty amazing news!" Shang and I said simultaneously. My family's eyes widened, I was never the type to find someone or something that I really loved/found an interest in which is why me finding a passion for being a warrior had shocked them. "We...we're getting married!" Shang and I said excitedly.
"AI-YA!" my grandmother screeched, "BEST DAY EVERRRR!!!" We all laughed at her excitement of my soon marriage.
"Congratulations, my dear Mulan." my father told me as he came up to hug me, "I knew you would find someone." He smiled. "Shang you are lucky to get her, but don't hurt her or she will hurt you!" I nudged my father when he said that.
"I know, Mulan is a wonderful woman and I'm proud to be her husband soon." Shang admitted as he smiled at me and my father.
"Oh, Mulan... This is a special day for you! How wonderful this is! I am extremely excited and may you two find eternal love to eachother." My mother told me as she grinned.
"Thank you, mother, father and grandma. I will always have you in my heart even when Shang steals it from me" I giggled. Everyone laughed heartily. "Well, it's getting late so we should have dinner then get to bed!" I informed them.
"Of course! Now, Shang, you must join us!" my Grandmother told us. Shang nodded. We all ate our delicious dinner-which of course was dumplings and a bit of fried rice-and finished.
By then everyone else was tired so I said goodnight to my family and goodbye to Shang. I went outside to the gardens since I was pretty bored. I was humming to a made up song of mine "Reflection" while it was very dark outside when I heard rustling. Out came Mushu!
"Mushu! What are you doing here? I haven't seen you in like a couple days!" I told him.
"Mulan! Watch out! I saw a really evil lookin' guy earlier!" he warned me.
"What're you talking about Mushu? There's no evil around here?" I questioned. He just looked around nervously and ran away after saying goodbye. "Bye, Mushu..." I trailed off knowing he probably went back to the Ancestors and he's probably partying.
All of a sudden I got grabbed and the mysterious person turned me around to look at them. It was some man dressed in dark clothing. He tied me up to a tree and took out a small brown bag from his pocket. He sprinkled an ugly green dust onto me and ran away as I left my world and entered another...
The world I went into was called "Arendelle" when I asked a regular where I was. How odd... Then an even weirder thing happened. A talking snowman approached me. Wut.
"You're not Anna. But I know you must be lost." He inquired. I nodded, still puzzled on what's happening. "C'mon. People will probably think you're Anna. I'll take you to the castle!" The snowman told me.
"What's your name?" I asked out of curiousity.
"I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs! And yours?" he smiled as he asked me.
"Mulan. Fa Mulan." I returned the smile to the oddly shaped talking snowman that went by the name of Olaf.
