Here's a kinda Laurette one, mentioned one sided Lam's (on John's part like always), Hameliza and Washette, kinda Mullete but not really, nobody suffers to much (well...). It's another collage/university au thing, idk. Anyway we'll see how it goes.

It was a Friday night and John was sitting next to Lafayette on the couch in his dorm room. This has become a regular thing since they were both single af and had nothing to do.

"So Alex has a hot date tonight?" Laf asked a sad and sympathetic smirk on his face as he turned to look at an annoyed John. "Yes, apparently she's one of the Schuyler sisters. You know the rich popular girls everyone talks about. Elisa I think it was..." John huffed sadly as he trailed off.

"Well mon amie, what can I do?" Laf sighed, "I don't know, maybe try comforting me?!" He said sarcastically turning to look at Laf. "I'm just so bloody pissed! I'm sure he's aware I have an interest in him, yet he does nothing and just carries on flirting with all the pretty girls!" John exclaimed getting all dramatic with his hands "He probably thinks 'Oh I can't hurt his feelings if I pretend not to notice them, right?' as if that works!" John practically shouted mimicking Alex's voice and moving his arms like a robot "He just ends up hurting me even more! You know I'd rather he straight up tell me he doesn't like me like that, than be all nice and flirty and stuff! Alex keeps on building up fake hope just then telling me he has a date with some chick! I mean seriously!" Breathing heavily for he had been talking so fast John laid back against the sofa covering his face with his hands in despair.

"Well that's Alexander for you," Laf said as he put an arm around John in attempt to comfort him, "living his life to the fullest, always experimenting with different people. Just the other day I saw him hanging out with that Maria girl." He looked John in the eyes, he could see the pain of unrequited love in them,"Though he doesn't seem to take any of it seriously so don't stress about it too much." Laf tried reasuring him, but wasn't too keen on the fact he was building falce hope though wanting to take some of the pain away.

Laf knew their situation, one day John and Alex acted like boyfriends and the next, John was crying in his arms because of the guy. Oooh the drama. If only John could realize he was better than that, that he should just be with him instead.

"So how'd he do it? Get with Elisa I mean." Laf was generally interested for getting with a Skyler sister always seemed impossible.

John just looked at him in shock "Seriously, who wouldn't want to be with Alex?", "Well-" Laf started before being cut off by John who huffed annoyed again "It was a rhetorical question! Anyway I'll tell you what happened." By the way John got straight to the point Laf could tell he had been waiting to nag and rant about this.

"So, we were in the canteen, I was sitting next to Alex eating my lunch (He had told me he liked my shirt but anyway that doesn't matter), then the oldest Schuyler sister, Angelica, came up to us. They had obviously talked some time before for they acted so casually, but anyway, she came up to us, and by the way COMPLETELY ignored my existence I mean WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?! Anyway she addressed Alex, ruining our amazing conversation, and they talked/flirted a bit (I wasn't really paying attention), then she started dragging him, Alex was all 'Where are you taking me?~' and she was like 'I'm about to change your life~' and he said 'Then by all means lead the way~' and honestly I thought they where going to go have a shag/make out session or something, but instead Angelica lead Alex to another table to where Elisa was. Elisa was all flushed and fumbly, and jumped to her feet when Alex arrived, like HE HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME, LIKE OMG!!! Anyway she introduced herself 'Elizabeth Schuyler. It's a pleasure to meet you.' she was sooo embarrassed, I almost felt sorry for her, but Alex being the amazing caring guy that he is," Laf smirked a bit at that, thinking wow love really does make you blind. "said 'Schuyler?' for this was obviously not what he was expecting anyway Angelica just replied with 'My sister' then he fucking kissed Eliza's hand (he's never done that too me) like a real gentleman, introduced himself and started flirting straight away, I mean like straight away. I seemed to be the only one to notice his little victory smirk as I watched them from the corner of my eye. Angelica looked the slightest bit broken, honestly I do feel sorry for her, anyway she said 'I'll leave you to it' and then left. At that point I knew for sure that he had completely forgotten about me so left as well."
